Gay Brewer Jr. Course at Picadome

Greens weren’t the best. I know it’s October but they were nearly unputtable from outside 5 feet. The bunkers were straight mud and dirt. Nobody fixes divots from their clubs or balls at this course apparently. I landed in 2 divots in 9 holes. Also, the course layout has all the holes sitting on top of eachother that they have holes sharing a green. Never seen that ever before. Having to wait for someone on the front 9 to finish their hole before I could finish my hole on the back 9 was a bit frustrating. The staff was very nice though!

Need rangers on the course, pace of play was the slowest I have ever played. Too many people walking. Back 9 was 4-5 groups deep for each hole. We skipped the last 3 holes because we were 4 hours in and had 20+ minute wait each hole to tee off.

First time playing this course and was impressed with the conditions. Fairways were nice and the greens were fast but not too fast. Would recommend playing here. Also very reasonable green fees.

Slow pace, people grabbing golf balls before you can retrieve your shots, many divots on greens not repaired, fairways not well-maintained, and the rough was atrocious. Never left a bad review, but just an overall horrible experience…

Course was in overall good condition! Play there often and love the layout!

This golf course is most definitely the nicest around here for the price. The wide range of terrain can make the course fun and makes it worth playing. Everytime I’ve been here the people that are playing are nice and the workers are very respectable. The only downside of this course is the pace of play, since it's so cheap the people that aren't very good or not that talented play and slows the pace of play down, but it is golf which is supposed to take time. Here I feel like I'm there for a full nine to five job. But in the long run I have a blast even if people are playing slow. I don’t really see any flaws in this place, if you are trying to go to a decent golf course for cheap I would completely recommend it. Thank you for being a good golf course.

That being said don’t take my review to heart haha. I had fun shooting my 140 love the challenge of the stream running through the fairways. Had fun

Overall good experience. Pace of play was real slow and had to jump ahead of a few groups(we were twosome). Course in good shape except some tee boxes were rough and uneven.

The guys at Picadome are doing a good job. The course is mature and deceptively difficult. Greens are fast and smooth. Good luck hitting them. Keep up the good work..

Greens were in phenomenal condition. The rough is as tough as the US open. This spring's abundance of rain appears to have curtailed mowing and the rough is so thick you have to punch it out and take your medicine. Been probably 10 or 12 years since playing here and have played twice in the last 3 weeks. It is a fun and challenging course.
