Golfer Reviews
Fine Course...But Not Great
I chose to drive 40 miles to try this course based upon its 5 star reviews. Having played, I say it is a good public course. However, it will never be confused with upper end public or most private clubs. The course is very hilly and, generally speaking, most fairways are in good condition. But the greens are a bit boring (limited difficulty) and the course is made tougher by letting the rough grow to very high levels. This is problematic because it slows play as others search for ball not readily apparent. (Perhaps the rough is generally less dense since it had rained a bit recently, but nonetheless it was problematic). People both in clubhouse and on the course were friendly.
Great Deal
Wonderful day of golf. Beautiful course and a great staff.
Creeks
good layout in very good condition considering the recent hot weather. look at the hole makers and note the water hazards. there are several drainage areas crossing the fairways which can't be well seen from the tees.
Solid hidden gem
That was great! I liked that each of the T-shirts wasn’t just driver rinse and repeat. You got an opportunity to hit a variety of shots. Really nice course conditions greens were in great shape. Tough but fair Mrs if you’re not in the fairway. Clubhouse was well stocked. Nice variety drinks in there as well. Would definitely recommend!
Splendid
Great course, and very compatible for the senior golfer as well
A Pleasure to Play
Hope the course conditions maintain for the year. The course is in fantastic condition. What a pleasure it is to play on PGA quality conditions, especially the greens. A tip of the hat grounds crew and the entire staff
Spectacular condition
I have just come from a month in Florida and nothing I played can compare. The overall course was in great shape, but the greens were phenomenal. The greens were immaculate, fast and true. I hope to get back there soon.
Worth the drive and more than worth the money.
Wonderful layout with good conditions. Well equipped pro shop with a very friendly staff. For a small county course they do an exceptional job.
Henry County Country Club
Great course in a beautiful area. Would recommend!

Overall nice condition for the money, pace of play was poor almost 5 hours.
Nice Layout
First time playing the course and it was somewhat challenging especially the par 3's, par 4's were generally short. Greens rolled true so no complaints there.
Only thing I would ding the course for is that it is VERY POORLY marked. With no GPS on the carts and if you don't have a rangefinder with you, you can forget about figuring out distances and this will lead to a frustrating day of golf. No excuse for not having yardage markers in the fairway's or on the tees.
Puts & Takes
Architecture / layout nerds will have some critiques, but it’s a good value at $40-$55.
Pros: water features well-maintained, few/no ‘dead’ areas, plenty of interesting shots (blind, forced carry)
Cons: no yardage markers, gas carts/no gps, greens are too small relative to their severity (side hill pins unavoidable)
Solid Kentucky Country Course.
Very good course that’s is kind of out of the way. Course was in great condition, I played in great time and I enjoyed the sporty layout.
It’s northern Kentucky and as to be expected is quite hiilly. Greens were located in green spots and were well maintained. It is worth a play if in the area.
