Clear Creek Golf Center Executive Course

9 hole, Par 3s and 4s. A little of everything! The course layout is very walkable yet carts available to allow for experiencing an understanding navigation and etiquette. All while having fun meeting and getting tips from the staff.

Oh and the amenities and price... Excellent!

Highly recommend.

You get a good amount of everything to learn and

Build skills. Drove an hour to play here based on reviews. love it!!! Drove it agin the next morning and played 2 rounds of 9. The staff and amenities- Great!!!!

Great choice to tune up your iron play as this is an executive layout. Greens had just received some fall maintenance work but were still playable. Tee boxes need some maintenance. Fairways on the three par fours were overgrown with crabgrass. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. City of Shelbyville owns two golf courses, not just the one they like to brag about. More funding needs to be allocated to “The Creek”. All said, I will continue to play here.

Clear Creek Golf Center – Executive Course in Shelbyville, KY - The greens were in good shape—smooth, consistent, and well‑maintained with exception of damge caused by Geese - unavoidable unfotunately like many courses. Fairways and rough were also in very good condition, making every shot feel fair and rewarding. You can tell the course is well attended and cared for with pride.

The staff deserves a shout‑out too. They’re incredibly accommodating, friendly, and attentive, groundskeepers and mowing staff included creating a welcoming atmosphere from the time you arrive. On top of that, the fees for a cart and 18 holes are exceptional, especially considering the quality of the course.

This is a fantastic place to work on your game. Whether you’re a beginner learning the basics or an experienced golfer looking to sharpen your skills, Clear Creek offers a relaxed, enjoyable environment that makes every round fun. It’s one of those courses where you can improve your swing and have a great time doing it.

Highly recommended for golfers of all levels.

Nice 9 hole layout for learning to navigate the golf cart, determine club usage for hole distance , experience bunkers, water, trees, etc.

Will definitely play it a few times to gain game confidence!

Overall, the coarse was in good shape for the green fees paid. The greens are in average shape; however, it looks like they have been aerated recently. I would recommend to the coarse to pair players together to make playtime more fluent. We left after nine because there was a single, twosome, and another single waiting to tee off, and nobody wanted to pair up. So if you have a lot of patience and time, this is a good executive coarse for the money. To be fair, it was Memorial day today; however, last time we played there, it was pretty much the same.

Course was crowded and that slowed down play. After three hours only got in 9 holes.

I’ve been golfing since the start of March and Clear Creek has been one of the best places to develop my golf game. The par 3s all around the course have helped my iron game tremendously. The two par 4s provide enough of a challenge that anyone can play from a 4/5 iron to a driver and still have a great time on them. The staff is incredibly friendly and the course is extremely well kept for a municipal/county funded course. I would recommend this course every time if someone is looking to enjoy the game of golf.

Fun par 3 course. The only negative was the beginner tee boxes. They were not level and hard to hit off from for beginners.

They actually were just anywhere in the fairways.
