Somehow I was able to book a tee time before the course even opened. I booked the tee early due to other obligations that day. By the time the course opened there was a group of walkers lined up on the tee box. After sitting there for 40 minutes waiting for the course to open then having a load of ppl preload the tee box, I was done. Not to mention in all that time I did not see one grounds keeper blowing the tee boxes or greens. September in Michigan means really wet dewy mornings. That was my first time trying a metro course and it’ll be the last. Pure Michigan. If I could give that experience zero stars I would. The state can use my $51 to fix a pothole or something.

This course is sneaky long and the greens are fast and tricky. Like most metroparks, the layout is pretttu straightforward, but the rough will punish you if you miss the fairway.

Front is somewhat boring but back is much more interesting. Cost is very reasonable. Played in 3.5 hours

If you are still trying to play golf for under $50 you can’t go wrong with the metropark courses

This course is a gem. It is one of the two best maintained municipal courses in the Ann Arbor / Jackson area, the other being Jackson Cascades. Our foursome played in a little over three hours for 18 holes which is remarkable for a public course. Very little waiting for groups in front of us. Though the layout is not as scenic or as adventurous as some of the "up north" courses, the length, lush fairways, undulating fast green proved very challenging. Good for seniors too because there are very few steep hills and you can get withing 30 feet of most greens minimizing long uphill walking.

Beautiful course, well maintained, challenging greens, and open fairways. Staff are great. Big fan of this course and love playing here.

Terribly slow play. No rangers to help with extremely slow threesome.

Friendly staff. Informal settings. Clean, efficient pleasing facilities.

Decent course conditions. Good outing.
