Meadows Golf Club
About
Meadows Golf Club in Lincoln Park offers a casual and enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. For more of a challenge, golfers can try the blue tees while the white and the red tees are more forgiving of errant shots. The course sprawls across mostly flat terrain but there are a few subtly elevated greens to contend with. The layout is situated amidst native wetlands, which come into play on many of the holes. The back nine is more challenging than the front, with the toughest hole being the par-5 13th. At 455 yards, it's not a long hole but there are two large fairway bunkers and an elevated green that is surrounded by even more sand. The best view on the golf course can also be enjoyed from the middle of the green on this hole.

Great for beginners and walkers,
Very flat but with interesting traps and water hazards- some bunker sand was too firm, scruffy fairways, greens were fairly well maintained. Lots of adjacent fairways making it a little annoying and somewhat dangerous.
I’m very surprised with the condition of Meadows this year compared to prior years. The course is in pretty good shape, hopefully the golfers take care of the greens and fairways if so I will be going once a week!
Making it familiar
The more I play this course, the more familiar I become. It’s a nice, open course that is well kept and has a great pace of play. Playing here elevates my game every time.
Interesting layout
First time playing here. Initially had lower expectations from the reviews and ratings I had read which were pretty bad but I had very little issues. There was definitely some course management involved at times. With the wind howling and it being a tighter track than i had anticipated. The greens were a little bouncy the sand was pretty stiff but as a 15 handicap and a realist this track is completely fine. No issues whatsoever. The 2 dudes my friend and I got paired with were awesome guys. Would definitely be back again.
The Meadows Lincoln Park Nj
The course is in GREAT condition for this time of year. Cups to management!
In better shape than I thought it would be.
Good local course. It needs yardage updates on the course, tough to judge distance unless you have golf GPS, which I don't.
The staff is great, always accommodating.
Overall, a good place to play locally.
Medium skill design, enjoyable round
Reasonably challenging with doglegs & water, greens in good condition. I will play there again soon.
Course needs some work
Tea boxes and that’s so good shape fairways and not so good shape. Putting surfaces were good.
Not bad at all
Read a lot of bad reviews on this course before I played. I believe that they might have been going through a management change. A lot of renovations inside to the facility. The staff was great. They were friendly, helpful and eager to get everyone out at a good time. The frost dept clogged us up at first, but the pace was good and no back ups in my round. The course staff were working on the course diligently and stayed out of the way for the golfers. Some of the tee boxes were beat up and some were moved to another area. The main issue were the greens. A bit bumpy, but completely playable and looked as if they were going to be just fine in a few weeks. All in all, I will go back to this course and see what the warmer weather does to it. A great value for the deal I got on GolfPass. A+
Nice track but back nine pace was very slow
Enjoyed a fantastic sunny day and course was in very nice shape. Greens were true and rolled nicely. Pace on the front was excellent, but ended up waiting at every hole from 10 til the end. We arrived at 10 behind 2 groups on the tee. Other than pace, Meadows is a good value and a nice way to spend a day.
Easy walking course
There are a lot of challenges with unplayable areas, but it is a decent course that you can usually get a Tee Time at. The greens are a bit rough, hopefully it will get better as the season goes on. Pretty flat so good walking course, unless you get a lightning warning, which has happened the last two times I played there.
Good time
First time out this season. Course was in decent shape. There were slow players in front of us which wasn't good and held up the pace quite a bit. Overall it was fun and the staff has always been nice.
