Deerwood Country Club

The course has a decent layout but its ability to drain after a rainstorm made it borderline unplayable. I understand a course being immediately wet after a rainstorm but we played 3 days after any substantial amount of rain and the entire course was soaking wet. Fairways were like swamps, tee boxes were muddy, greens were sopping wet and difficult to putt on.

Though Deerwood has really come along way in the last year it is really starting to show some wear in many spots. 1. It never drained well and with the recent weather it has definitely taken its toll. I really doesn’t help that there’s no cart restrictions either. For 58.00 on a Tuesday afternoon it’s certainly worth it though. If anyone from Deerwood reads this. PUT IN DRAINAGE! Save your course.

Course still making a comeback, priced right great layout variety of holes I would recommend playing here

We always have a good time here ..no one bothers you pretty relaxed. . Cart Girl always nice ..great hotdog at the concession stand... I think that was the best part of my day. The hotdog.! Missed a couple easy putts o Well, that’s Golf. also, the cart guys at the end are always very nice.

Many of the fairways are in good shape, some of the tee boxes need care, the price of as good from tee off,.alit of forced shotsfrom tee boxes on many par fours, overall would play again at good rate

The overall conditions are getting better. There are still some bad spots on fairways and the two par 3's in the woods still aren't back to good condition. Also, new policy of singles not being able to take their own cart isn't great...especially when we later got passed by the "President's Cup" match, with 2 people playing, and there were about 14 people each had their own cart.

This course was a lot of fun and absolutely beautiful. I would golf here every day if I could. All of the staff were awesome and friendly and the course was well kept. Will play here again soon.

It was a great course. It rained heavily the day before so the fairways were very wet. Carts not allowed on FW's. Can't wait to playing again when it dries out some.

I had played this course years ago and thought it was meh and never made a point to go back. This course has improved drastically. Conditions are quite good compared to other South Jersey Public courses. The value and pace of play were great. Layout is challenging with lots of penalty areas around greens and forced carries off a tee. Definetly plan to come back as other courses are both worse and more expensive

17 of 18 Greens were in perfect condition. Beautiful course IMO

Second time playing this course once last year and yesterday courses in way better shape than it was last year staff’s friendly everybody’s good cart girl is good. Had a great day shot an 84 lowes score ever!!
