Beautiful course, want to go back and play it again when greens are not aerated. Course was wet lot of rain day before and we played in an on and off again rain situation. Overall could use just a bit more tlc but not much

Love this course, primarily because of the proximity to home, and secondly love how much forgiving this is. Pace of play depends on the time of the day & day you are playing g here. Overall you move fairly well. Tee times are booked 10min apart. Love the staff here and their hospitality. Enjoy rounds here very much.

This was my first time back to the Pheasant in a few years. I was very happy with the improvements that were made with the course. It was always a decent course, but now they seem to have eliminated the bad spots where the fairways used to get muddy. The par 3 11th hole is much improved since the last time I played here also. It was a very good day even though there was an outing going on when we got there, the staff seemed to have everything under good control. We got slowed down around the 8th hole, but it wasn't terrible. I will definitely be back.

The staff is amazing and the course was well manicured and maintained minus the front 9 tee boxes. Course mixed in challenging angles and was well defended with slope when needed. Mix in some hilly terrain and uneven lies and she presents a challenging but get-able setup. Pin locations required a few thoughtful misses or you’re staring double in the face. Didn’t love getting stuck behind a slower league group with 5 players but it shows they are involved with members not just a transaction. My only disappointment is I haven’t played here sooner. Price was just right. Come to the pheasant, be ready to course manage, and go to the 19th hole after!

This course is nice. The layout if favorable to novice golfers like myself. Some of the tee boxes could use a little TLC but the fairways were great and the greens were smooth. The staff was really friendly, offering us a slice of cake, as it was his birthday!!we had a 8 am start and practically no one around us and we finished in 3 hrs and 52 minutes! I definitely would play there again.

I usually like playing this course, but this was an exception. Most of the tee boxes are a mess..sand, dirt, very little grass. From hole 9 on, the sprinklers kept coming on/off for the rest of the round...playing off wet grass on a nice sunny day definitely was not fun.

A lot of short holes, but playing uphill , of course made for challenges.

The rough, even the first cut, very difficult .

The greens were fine ,many slopped greens, you really need to be below the hole.

Some tee boxes were nasty, and while the fairways were for the most part good, there were some rough patches.

Good mix of par 3s.

The staff could not have been nicer.

They provide free bottle water as well.

Ball washes, we’re actually soapy. You don’t see that too often.

This Course was in immaculate shape, and the staff friendly and nice touch was the bottled water at the clubhouse wishes court was so much closer I would play here weekly

We played on the hottest, grossest, day of the year but still had a blast! Pace of play was brutally slow but, other than that, this is a really fun, shorter course. Mix of uphill and downhill shots with very good conditions great. You don’t get too much elevation change on courses in SJ so, it was a welcomed surprise. We’ll definitely be back!

Course is in phenomenal shape, employees are friendly and pace of play was decent.

Lenny and the rest of the pro shop guys are great
