Power Rankings: The top-rated courses on Golf Advisor in the fourth quarter of 2015

We're wrapping up the 2015 golf season, and these courses have saved their best reviews for last, finishing off the year strong with top ratings and reviews on Golf Advisor.

The top-rated course of the quarter (minimum 10 reviews since Oct. 1) is Skyview at Terra Vista Golf & Country Club, located north of Tampa and northwest of Orlando. It's just another favorite off-the-beaten-path play for Florida residents and vacationers that has been welcoming those who make the drive with great staff friendliness and conditions.

"We did an 80 mile round trip to play Skyview," wrote reviewer Angielikesgolf. "And it was worth it. The course was a joy to play."

The top courses of the quarter include several throughout California, plus a few in Arizona and Florida. One course of note is SunRidge Canyon in Fountain Hills, Ariz., which closed for the summer to renovate and reopened Oct. 1. In the months since, it's been the top course in the ultra-competitive Valley of the Sun.

The most active courses of the quarter are predominantly those around the Orlando area.

Will these courses make our Best of 2015 list? We'll unveil the full top 50 in early 2016.
