Fun track
Big hitters course …big wide open fairways, flat and a lot of room to miss…overall decent track that has some really fun holes. Staff is great, definitely recommend.
Good Golf Course and pace
Definitely a good course , fun to play. Pace was good not over crowded. I would say it’s more attractive at the $30 rate
Ranger was horrible
So I finish playing the front nine. The fairways aren’t the best but they are playable at least. I go to start the back nine and there is a line of about 3 or 4 groups ahead of me so I decide to turn around and grab a drink from the clubhouse. I misjudge the turning radius of the cart and accidentally skid against the curb. The ranger immediately drives over to me and tells me to get off the cart and I’m banned from driving because I intentionally hit the curb. I tried to explain it wasn’t intentional and I apologized but he didn’t care to listen and immediately cut me off saying I did it on purpose and don’t know how to drive so I was banned from driving a cart on the course. We both then exchanged comments and he kicked me off the course. What an absolute joke. I’ve seen so much worse happen in front of a course ranger and they not do anything about it for this to be acceptable. I get back to the parking lot and a group of guys says they saw what happened and that that particular ranger has given a lot of people crap for the smallest things and I didn’t deserve that. I will not be going back to this course.
Good value, okay course
Booked this through GolfNow because it was cheaper than their own website. I like this course overall. I typically play from the gold tees.
Pros: not too difficult a track. Most of the water is not in play, and there aren't many fairway bunkers. Greens are usually in great shape (last round they were recently punched and hadn't been swept), same with tee boxes.
Cons: Driving range is between the 1st and 10th fairways, making it easy to lose a ball, bunkers are in bad shape (some of that is because of recent rain, but not all), difficult to tell the difference between fairway and rough, many holes do not have trash cans or ball wash, carts leave rust marks on bags from the tow bar.
Pace of play: On a normal day, front 9 will be slow. Many do not continue onto the back 9. I've never had a round take more than 4 hours when I've been here.
No pace of play. No course upkeep
No course upkeep. Bunkers are concrete. 5 somes slow down pace of play. No ranger on weekend. Couldn’t play through.
Repair your ball marks
This is a great course, and great condition. However, the greens have ball marks all over them. Apparently people who play here do not repair ball marks. We enjoyed the round and hope to go back there again sometime.
Great for beginners
Great for beginners, not too much water, and wide fairways. Bunkers could use some work as well as some limb clean up here and there but for it is a good course for the price.
Bradford Creek experience
Overall a good experience. Greens were soft and a little shaggy, from watering because of high temperatures. Service was fine, clubhouse was under utilized. Literally no concessions beyond a few snakes and the usual beverage cooler.
Troon Golf is the operator for the Parks and Rec Department.
They get 4 stars for doing a good job considering the finding.
Terrible
The course is not well maintained. The price was ridiculously high. If I were able to walk the course prior to playing, I would not have.
Great Muni course
We try to play this course once a year. Last played it in Aug of ‘22. Our tee time was on the heels of morning showers, so we were the first ones out. Course was soft on the greens but fairways were still firm. My son and grandson were my playing partners. We played at our own pace and had a really enjoyable round of golf. Like I said the greens were super soft, so if you had the skills pin hunting was in the mix as the balls landed and stopped quick. This course continues to improve and offers some great gokf. L
