Too bad course conditions are not adequate for this golf course historical gem. The golf course conditions are rough all over, but especially the tee boxes and fairways. Greens were top dressed with sand, so it is tough to rate them. The course is fun to play with 2 different 9's. The front Donald Ross 9 has small undulating greens and is relatively short. The back 9 is larger and more spread out and open. I wish they would put more attention to course maintenance, but seems like they have relegated it to an average course. Price on weekday should be no more than $25 with above review. I paid $28 with hot deal, but it is regular $32.
Wouldn’t Recommend
It’s a dirt track, the tee boxes were okay and the fairways were somewhat in rough conditions due to no divots being fixed since they don’t provide you with a sand bottle as well as poor course management with no marshall. The greens have illegal pin placement as well. You get what you pay for but you’ve been warned.
Course is in pretty rough shape. Not a good value at $43 green fees.
Best deal in Eastern North Carolina!!!!
Cannot beat the price. Course is in fantastic condition. Donald Ross design without Pinehurst prices. Challenging, but also tons of fun. Bring your short game!! Can even get a full membership to this place for $65/mo, Wow! Would highly recommend checking Farmville out.
