I'm Impressed
My first time playing at Bradford Creek was to scout for a good course to bring my buddies to. The entire course was well manicured by staff. The roughs we're thick and fluffy. The fairways aren't full of bare spots. There were a few wet spots, but that's to be expected anywhere. The greens were green and lush with beautiful edges and well-cut holes. If I had any recommendations or "complaint", it would be the staff holding the players accountable for fixing divots on the greens and raking the sand traps after taking a shot. There was clear disrespect from other players that should not be acceptable. The cart paths are in great condition excluding around the green on 18. Overall, I absolutely loved my first round at Bradford Creek and plan to bring my friends this weekend.
Great for the $$
I play Bradford about once a month. The course i usually in pretty good condition. But don't forget it is a public course so don't expect a country club. Think it's a nice place toplay for the $$. Carts could use some work, or replacing
Terrible shape.
Fairways long have not been mowed. Greens in terrible condition. Played before in the summer a couple years ago and wasn’t bad. Paying $35 for a round of golf this time of year when the course is in terrible shape was brutal. Maybe $25 at best.
Decent course but you can play a nicer course for less money in wilson at Wedgewood for 24 weekday 27 weekend instead of 35-40 at bradford
No course maintenance
I've played Bradford many times over the years and it used to be a good, well maintained public golf course, but ever since Indigo golf took it over it has become a neglected golf course. The bent grass greens were always in good condition and the fairway had grass, but now most of the greens have multiple dead spots and a few have very little grass, but lots of weeds. It seems to me that they have just given up on maintaining the course.
Also, the gas carts they have are a joke. Half of them don't have windshields, the rest barely run. Very disappointed.
Best round I’ve ever played
Bradford is a very forgiving course that is flat for the most part, putts relatively slow, and allows golfers to escape trouble pretty easily. Bunkers could use some sand, greens need some more attention, but overall, for the price, a fun place to play. Has been for almost 20 years for me.
Bradford Creek Review
I haven't played Bradford creek in a few years after playing here frequently over the past 5 plus years, when I was in the area. It was always a good value for the price... nice layout and well maintained. It has it's limitations, like the eye sore low housing units along the front holes 5-8, but is made up by a nice layout on the back 9 which flows through a more secluded wooded area.
However, the course conditions are not what I remembered several years ago. It really looked rough all around the edges, a course that looked like it has been neglected and not well maintained. The greens especially were in poor conditions were very bumpy with a lot of dead patches and no grass in large areas.
It has been reported that the course has been struggling in recent years and this appears to be evident by the appearance of the course and I'm assuming tightened budget. Here's hoping this changes, because Bradford Creek has a lot of potential and there are not a lot of nice public course options in this area.
Greens Above Par (Could be better)
Overall course condition was good. Still had some standing water hazards; thankfully I avoided them. The greens could use some attention. Golfers need to repair their divots, grounds keeper needs to do some treatment and maintenance.
Golf now is a rip off
I was charge $27 for 18 holes and the cart +$6. Charge for Golfnow. The proshop charges $25. So that was my last buy on Golfnow. Very nice course recommended.
