Henderson Country Club

This was my first time at HCC as they are now open to the public during the week in the afternoon. Course was empty which was great! However, it was really hot which is probably why it was empty. Greens were in GREAT shape. Interesting layout and more uphill/downhill than I expected. Fairways and tee boxes pretty dry due to the hot weather. Doesn’t appear they have an irrigation system, but doing a great job with the greens. A lot of bunkers in rough shape and cart paths are atrocious. If they installed new cart paths, put an irrigation system in to better care for the fairways and tees and improved the bunkers, HCC would be a gem of a country club to belong to.

This course was one of the best I've played in awhile. The staff where super friendly and knowledgeable the members were super nice I'm a single handicap. And if I lived closer would join in a heartbeat.the course is a definite classic course no goofy holes. And the condition was great this is a club where everyone plays at a great pace.
