Raymond C. Firestone Golf Course

Loved the course loved the greens and fairways some of the holes are very tight and the tough is really tough but the staff is all old men who hate working there.

Firestone Public is an excellent course. The greens, fairways, and tee boxes are kept in top notch condition. The course is great for fine-tuning clubs (driver), as there are hardly any trees. The course is designed around a hilly landscape. You will not be disappointed with the course or conditions! Play can back up every now and then, due to the course being nine holes.

Open course with very few trees. Good course to figure out a slice or hook. Course is well maintain and greens very nice

The foursome before us each player played 2 balls Causing some back up. Otherwise great day

We love this course and try to play it as often as we can. But this day they really overbooked!! Took us 2 1/2 hours to play nine holes. Our tee time was at Noon and we didn't tee off till almost 12:45.
Again, we love this course and if you get a chance to play it, go for it. But be prepared to spend some time on the course.

Well maintained course unfortunately extremely slow play. I enjoyed looking across at Firestone and appreciating the beauty of the course. If you have 2-3 hours to play 9 go for it.

This is a fantastic 9 Hole facility and driving range!! The best range in Akron, they have 20 heated stalls and perfect grass to hit off as well. The golf course is a Par 35 and in PERFECT condition. The greens are the best I played on all season. It is maintained to the same conitions as Firestone Country Club. This course gives you a great challenge yet is playable for anyone!!! If you have not played this course you need to try it and save some time to eat at Hackers restaurant!! I would highly recommend this facility!!!

This is the Firestone "public" course but it is maintained by the same people and to the same standards as the great Firestone CC next to it. While it's only nine holes and relatively short even from the blues, you can use every club in your bag and there are multiple tee boxes to accommodate all age groups and playing levels. Pace of play always seems decent. A great driving range with covered and heated tee mats plus grass tees seasonally. There is a small bar with limited food offerings in the clubhouse but a great full service restaurant with bar ("Hackers") overlooking the range in the same building.
