Good course, good value, fair track. Front 9 backs up bc par 3s are front loaded.

Always nice to play this course. Greens were true and relatively fast. Recent dry conditions helped. Real nice track. Bit short but plenty challenging here.

Shawnee has never looked better. The course is in excellent shape and managed by a good staff. Just a very nice course overall. There are better values at some surrounding areas though. $18 is fair however.

The metro parks always maintain their courses to a high level since they have so much money. I recommend this course to golfers at any level.

Home course played a million times but continues to impress with excellent manicuring for a public course. Greens pretty fast and in great shape

Great staff, course in very good condition even with the amount of rain we have had. Greens in great shape. Just wish we saw a ranger on the course to speed play up. Played on a Tuesday morning, over 5 1/2 hours to play. Had foursome 2 groups ahead of us, very slow and would not allow groups to play through. Would have been nice to see a ranger pushing that group, none to be found.

Despite the amount of rain we've had, the course was very playable. The people there were super friendly. And the price was definitely right. Well dawn Shawnee and the Cleveland Metroparks.

Pace of play was fast for a Sunday afternoon. Course was in great condition, with the greens playing fast prior to some rain. Back 9 is more fun than the front, with narrower fairways and more elevation changes.

Course in great shape, which is playable to golfers of all abilities.

Course was wet like never seen a course that wet.
Luckily we had the first tee time and played in 2.5 hours.

Rangers facilitated play and starter sent us out early.

I booked a foursome through Golfnow.com for 22.00 ea 18 holes w cart for 12:30 PM tee off time We got there thinking we might be able to tee off early but the ranger said no. So we went to the practice green to due some putting and chipping at 12:45 PM we got the call from the ranger to go to the first tee. They we already 3 groups ahead of us. So we waited another 25 minutes before we got to tee off. the greens were very fast and we all missed a lot of birdies putts. It was the men against the boy I was on fire the first 9 holes with 3 birdies and one birdie from Rick we shoot a 31 on the front 9 and had a 8 stroke lead over them it was a different story on the back 9 my son got 3 birdies and Patrick got one so the lead was down to 4 shots and they just won't go away until the cut the lead to a one stroke lead for us going to the 18 hole they needed to make a birdie and we just needed a par and Rick did just that by putting in a 20 footer for par and the men beat by the boys by one slow play we were waiting at every hole about 20-25 minutes and the people behind us was shooting shots before we were on the green I said something to the ranger and he just left They have no yard markers on most of the holes with was had to tell your distance one group on the back nine got so mad at himself that he through his group club onto the other good that was uncalled
for because he could have hurt somebody. It took us 6.5 hours to play 18 holes you need the ranger to do his job by keeping up the pace rather then doing nothing at all Steve from North Olmsted Ohio

We received a refund, they sent out 4 groups of 4 kids walking in front of us. We would of been there over 6 hours. This is the second time this week this has happened, here and sleepy hollow. It took 3 hours to play 9 holes at sleepy hollow after the first nine we got a raincheck. If these courses are letting school kids go out they should block all those tee times. Will not visit a metro parks course again.

Had a 1:00 Sunday afternoon tee time and finished in 4 hrs 20 mins. Greens were in good shape, but most courses are this year. There are some plain holes but also some really good ones - nos 4, 10, 11, 12, 14 and 17 are among the good ones. Staff is very friendly. Can't beat the value at Cleveland Metroparks courses.

Been at this course plenty of times in the past few years. At sometimes such as early in the season the course isn't taken care of as well as it can be. But later in the season they really step up their game and make it a beautiful and quite fun course to play. If you're looking for a easier course to play as someone just getting used to the game or you're someone who wants to shoot that really low score you're looking for, Shawnee hills is for you.

The course has come a long way and is in real nice condition. Course is great for all skill levels with some challenging holes. A good place to play if you want to score low

Course was in good condition. A lot of beginners. Pace was good considering so many novice on the course.

The course was in pretty good shape. Except the holes where not cut properly. They almost seemed over grown. Not clean cuts. Which is dissapointingand frfrustrating. The starters do their job properly as well as thw inside staff. The rangers however will drive ya nuts. They seem to be hawking all over you. They will drive up in the middle of your swing and or just stare and watch you, which is really annoying when they can drive all over the course and not just seem to be stalking you. Other than that its pretty decent.
