Great old school course with good length and narrowness.
Tough course on front nine if you are slicing or drawing. Lots of up and down Hills. Some holes require a spotter to see where ball is going because you can lose it quickly. Greens and Fairways a very good for a course out in the country. Back nine a little easier. But still has some blind holes. I would still come back to it often if you like a challenge. Old school you just can't Blast the Ball and then hit a 9-iron Ian to the green. Great. I really like Saint Denis even though it beats me up.
Maybe next year
$58 for a 6 hour round. Felt compelled to stay and get my moneys worth. 0 help from the rangers for pace of play. Lady inside seemed like getting me a sandwich was a bother. Food sub par. I will not be playing here again this year. Unfortunate because this is a nice course.
Lots of Dew
We went out at 6:50 am, so it was quite wet with dew on the ground. It made for less ball flight, difficulty in the rough and slow greens. We thought it would dry out, but it didn't. Added a few extra strokes to my score, but overall it was a nice day and the staff was friendly. Will try to come back when it is dry. Course is challenging with the hills and ponds.
St. Dennis
Pace was very slow on front 9 taking 3.5 hours to play 9 holes. Waited over 30 minutes to tee off on back 9 and ended up leaving after the 13th hole due to backups on every hole. Otherwise the course is great.
Always nice
Was one of a fee courses open in March. Conditions were good for March. Staff always friendly. Price was reasonable.
Great shape for Mid October
A rare treat to be able to play this late in the season! Course was in great shape! Greens were fast and true. Wish I could play it several more times before the bad weather sets in.
Course
Really good course and great value. Workers were really nice. Enjoyed a bud light and a really good brat and the turn. Pace of play was a little slow, but other than that it was great!
