Harbor Pines Golf Club
About
The Harbor Pines Golf Club is a public facility that boasts an 18-hole, four-star golf course with subtle, breaking greens that provide a challenge for all golfers. The holes are very private and the fairways are wide and open.
The environment friendly course is a local favorite and is considered among women to be one of the best courses for women to play on. The beautiful natural landscape with seventeen acres of water and 520 acres of forestry has even been certified as an National Audubon Sanctuary. The relatively flat course does offer challenges for experienced golfers but it will not be too difficult for intermediate or beginning golfers. Both the 16th and 17th holes are difficult par-4's and the course has various hazards scattered throughout.

Greens are in good conditions
Play 2 consecutive days and very good course conditions & layout
Incredible course
Great course with fast greens! The bunkers are treacherous so stay away lol
Good Course That's Missing The Wow Factor
Full disclosure, I liked a lot of things about Harbor Pines. The layout was quality, the greens were in great shape and it's a tough but fair course. For the price though I just don't find it a good value. The tee boxes were chewed up, some of the bunkers were in rough shape, and a lot of the holes weren't particularly memorable and monotonous. There are a lot of courses in the area that have better designs or are in better shape that I feel the need to rush back to HP. Overall it's worth playing if you can get a Hot Deal, but for $125 it's not worth it.
Good concerning the past rain
This is the 2nd time playing Harbor Pines. Take into account the rains they had the past 2 days the course handled it pretty well. Yes, some the tee boxes are beat up and some parts of the fairways are as well but in my opinion this is to be expected towards the end of the season. As for the greens, they were pristine, fast and true. Overall it was a great day and to top it off the food at Roost pub and grill at the course was amazing.
My tee time was delayed of 30 minutes and no one let me know until I was paying at the pro shop . They tell me they often do this to place 4somes instead . My tee time was book 2 weeks in advance … vert unrespecful….
Good choice for close to AC
Fairways were beat up from excessive use. Greens were beautiful and fast. Pretty tight course overall. Lots of yardage options and Tee combos listed on score card. All the par 3's distances are updated on the signs each morning. The Roost was a great little lunch on the way out. 20 minutes from the casinos. Had a great time. Not a bad value at 100$ with a Cart for a weekend early morning time. Would definitely play again.
Late July midweek
Fast greens. It took me a couple of holes to adjust. Tee boxes are a little rough. Otherwise, the course is in good condition. Started out as a single but joined up with another single at
#11. Pace slowed down once we got behind a couple of groups. Still a very good pace of play. Finished the round 3:35.
Needs some time and TLC
Nice layout, but fairways and tee boxes need some TLC.
8/5/25
Course was in great shape minus the tee boxes. Most of the tee boxes were in poor shape. Overall it was a greet round.
It was OK
Glad we played in the afternoon and took advantage of the lower rates. The greens were in good shape and rolled true. However, overall course conditions were average at best. The tee boxes were in poor condition and could use significant improvement. Bunkers were inconsistent—some well-maintained, others not raked or compacted properly. Pace of play was also an issue; tee times were scheduled too closely together, leading to some unnecessary backups. With a few adjustments, this course could offer a much better experience.
One of my favorites
Play here once a year on vacation. It’s a little far from LBI where we stay… >45 min.. but always enjoy my round. Reasonably challenging…lots of sand, water or trees line all fairways. Sand is well kept; usually can find balls in trees. Lots of tee options… I played a white/senior combo that fit my skill level. Not inexpensive, but equal or better value than comparable courses in area. Rangers visible on course.
Great course and people
The course is only surpassed by the friendly staff
