Harbor Pines Golf Club
About
The Harbor Pines Golf Club is a public facility that boasts an 18-hole, four-star golf course with subtle, breaking greens that provide a challenge for all golfers. The holes are very private and the fairways are wide and open.
The environment friendly course is a local favorite and is considered among women to be one of the best courses for women to play on. The beautiful natural landscape with seventeen acres of water and 520 acres of forestry has even been certified as an National Audubon Sanctuary. The relatively flat course does offer challenges for experienced golfers but it will not be too difficult for intermediate or beginning golfers. Both the 16th and 17th holes are difficult par-4's and the course has various hazards scattered throughout.

greens in good shape, they are trying to patch fairways and approaches to greens to
needs full aeration of fairways
greens ok
slow pace of play as always
Best the greens have ever been
Yes it true the tee boxes and some fairways have some end of season hurt but the greens are in the best shape I’ve seen them in ever and I’ve played here for 25 years take my word for it
Good course, pace of play is awful
We played yesterday and waited on almost every hole from the first. To play nine holes took over 2 1/2 hours. We played thru on 10 only to find 11 behind. We left. This is hardly the first time this has happened. We spoke to the starter about this and he assured us we could speak to a ranger if that happened. We saw the ranger on the 2nd hole and not again. This is a really nice course but the pace is a big problem. My husband is an 12 handicap and said he would never play here again.
Tee boxes + course vs price
The tee boxes were an absolute mess. Look I understand the course gets a lot of play. But for $160.00 fee anyone should expect better conditions. I have played municipal courses with better maintained tee boxes.
Little pricey for the Conditions at this time of the season.
Paid a hot deal. Was 88.00. Regularly 168.00. Would never had paid that. Even 88.00 was pushing it. Tee boxes had something going on. Alot of them were dirt. Greens were nice. Fairways not bad but alot of divot.
Staff was great. Bar was nice after. Building very nice and clean.
Greens are in good conditions
Play 2 consecutive days and very good course conditions & layout
Incredible course
Great course with fast greens! The bunkers are treacherous so stay away lol
Good Course That's Missing The Wow Factor
Full disclosure, I liked a lot of things about Harbor Pines. The layout was quality, the greens were in great shape and it's a tough but fair course. For the price though I just don't find it a good value. The tee boxes were chewed up, some of the bunkers were in rough shape, and a lot of the holes weren't particularly memorable and monotonous. There are a lot of courses in the area that have better designs or are in better shape that I feel the need to rush back to HP. Overall it's worth playing if you can get a Hot Deal, but for $125 it's not worth it.
Good concerning the past rain
This is the 2nd time playing Harbor Pines. Take into account the rains they had the past 2 days the course handled it pretty well. Yes, some the tee boxes are beat up and some parts of the fairways are as well but in my opinion this is to be expected towards the end of the season. As for the greens, they were pristine, fast and true. Overall it was a great day and to top it off the food at Roost pub and grill at the course was amazing.
My tee time was delayed of 30 minutes and no one let me know until I was paying at the pro shop . They tell me they often do this to place 4somes instead . My tee time was book 2 weeks in advance … vert unrespecful….
