Harbor Pines Golf Club
About
The Harbor Pines Golf Club is a public facility that boasts an 18-hole, four-star golf course with subtle, breaking greens that provide a challenge for all golfers. The holes are very private and the fairways are wide and open.
The environment friendly course is a local favorite and is considered among women to be one of the best courses for women to play on. The beautiful natural landscape with seventeen acres of water and 520 acres of forestry has even been certified as an National Audubon Sanctuary. The relatively flat course does offer challenges for experienced golfers but it will not be too difficult for intermediate or beginning golfers. Both the 16th and 17th holes are difficult par-4's and the course has various hazards scattered throughout.

Not worth the money
This is a very decent course with a nice layout.
For $99 I expected to be putting on decent greens. They are terrible. All 18
Yes it’s late April but really ? Many of the other reviews were correct.
Too bad because the staff are excellent.
Terrible Pace/Aerated Greens
Friday morning round, took about 5 hours and 15 minutes. Not ideal but it happens, rangers were updating us on the groups ahead and how it wasn’t the immediate group (easy to see when there’s three groups waiting on a single teebox). Only disappointment was paying full price for aerated greens that were miserable to putt on. No notice of this when booking. Once the greens are grown in this course plays great but letting us know the conditions would have changed our plans to play here today.
Day out
Greens have not healed. Bouncey house. Been almost a month. Price decent if Golf Now but course packed and not planned well. Foursome, single, Foursome, twosome pushing. Was a nightmare and rangers just placating you with. It's gonna be slow. 5 1/2 hour round. Nobody's fault. Uhh. Yes it is. The starter? Make sure you're off for the day.
The course is in decent conditions considering the time of the year. The greens were slow and bumpy with regards to recent aeration but it is still a fun course to play. The pairings were rather odd with foursomes and singles mixed in. Overall It was just enjoyable to be outside playing golf.
Early Spring Golf
Green I am told where aerated a month ago. They are stil extremely bumpy and slow with holes that actually deflect good putts, some sand and rolling then cutting would be a start. Doing alot of work on clubhouse and sand traps, adding bright white sand. Fairways &tee boxes are good. Give it 3 weeks and water cut & roll the greens please.
Aeration
Would have liked to know that the whole course was just aerated- tee boxes, fairways and greens. I’ll never play here again
Wet conditions and greens airrated in poor condition
Disappointed in greens conditions as all were sanded only 5-10 feet around flags?
Unable to putt
I played here before and enjoy
Not this time.
Good golf course
Good professional layout and good condition for this time of year
Good coarse
Very good golf coarse professional standards good conditions for this time of year
Great course not so great greens
Always enjoy playing here love the layout. $45 is a bit steep for very bumpy greens that they told us were aerated a month ago. They should’ve at least cut the greens or rolled them to make them more playable
Nice course for this time of year !!
Overall the course was ok and everything else was good. It is what it is for this time of year.
