Harbor Pines Golf Club
About
The Harbor Pines Golf Club is a public facility that boasts an 18-hole, four-star golf course with subtle, breaking greens that provide a challenge for all golfers. The holes are very private and the fairways are wide and open.
The environment friendly course is a local favorite and is considered among women to be one of the best courses for women to play on. The beautiful natural landscape with seventeen acres of water and 520 acres of forestry has even been certified as an National Audubon Sanctuary. The relatively flat course does offer challenges for experienced golfers but it will not be too difficult for intermediate or beginning golfers. Both the 16th and 17th holes are difficult par-4's and the course has various hazards scattered throughout.

Good conditions considering.
Considering the amount of rain received in the area this summer, the course was in good shape. All par 3s and several par 4s were cart paths only, in an attempt to spare the fairways. Completely understandable and this did not negatively impact our round which was fun and challenging, especially given the added length of the course given the lack of roll after our balls landed. Perhaps the course could have been set up with the tees forward to help the average golfer. Otherwise, it was a good course, staff was helpful and friendly and we will definitely be back!
Chart path only, 45 minute delay in teeing off, front 9 was slow, members playing replayed the front 9 again so pace of play improved. 5 hour round
Slowest course ever......
The conditions were great but the pace of play is unbearable. We tee’d off 35 minutes late and it took 3 hours to finish the front 9. We complained but because we booked through GolfNow, they wouldn’t do anything for us so we just left after the front 9.
It’s not worth the wait!!!
Good course but
like other reviews have said, the pace of play is kinda slow. Plan on a 5 hour round if playing on the weekends (including Friday). The conditions are excellent and the layout is great. Easy course to walk also.
Golf 9/8
Bag attendant was very rude. I am immunocompromised and he gave me a difficult time when I asked to ride alone. He acted immature. He questioned my diagnosis. Being immunocompromised during the pandemic has very few difficult and golfing has been a an opportunity to still interact with people and have some semblance of normalcy.
The course was fine. No issues.
Very slow play
Granted it was a holiday weekend, but teetime intervals were too tight. Teetime was 10:24 and we didn’t tee off until 10:45….4 hours later we walked off the course after 12 holes
Great Track
Beautiful course and friendly staff, definitely a must play in the AC area.
Worth the trip
If in the area, Harbor Pines is a worthwhile challenge. Overall good condition with trim fairways, bunkers (lots!) well kept, and big, rolling well-kept greens. Holes mostly straight, can play long. Mid-summer Friday took 4:20, so not too bad.
Beautiful parkland style course, great staff
Fun course to play with variety of holes. Was in great shape, despite 2 inches of rain day before. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Rangers checked on us and helped keep things moving well, just over four hours on a Saturday.
I would definitely recommend.
another great golf day
a very nice day out golfing
the course was in good aerated shape at this time-as with so many courses- i wish people would take some time and replace or fill divots they even have sand on carts a very fun course
Course was great
We had a great time at Harbor Pines. We got out on time and weren't pushed to play faster. Course was in great shape. Recommend it highly.
Great pace, great greens
Considering peak season, we moved at a very good pace with plenty of rangers on course. The course was very playable with just enough difficulty. For first time on course, the holes could all be seen with limited blind shots. Very much enjoyed the day. Staff was excellent also.
5.5 hour round
Slow play wasn't managed properly by the ranger. If you’re down for vacation and are looking to play I recommend a better/pricier course. I don’t plan on playing there again.
