Harbor Pines Golf Club
About
The Harbor Pines Golf Club is a public facility that boasts an 18-hole, four-star golf course with subtle, breaking greens that provide a challenge for all golfers. The holes are very private and the fairways are wide and open.
The environment friendly course is a local favorite and is considered among women to be one of the best courses for women to play on. The beautiful natural landscape with seventeen acres of water and 520 acres of forestry has even been certified as an National Audubon Sanctuary. The relatively flat course does offer challenges for experienced golfers but it will not be too difficult for intermediate or beginning golfers. Both the 16th and 17th holes are difficult par-4's and the course has various hazards scattered throughout.

Great course
Played on a Wednesday at noon and was able to play solo with no problems. Starter loads your clubs for you and cleans them when you finish your round. Finished 18 in 3 1/2 hours playing behind a group and with a group behind me. Great pace and the course conditions were great even with the greens recently aerated. The aeration had no effect on putting as the greens still played fast and smooth! Awesome layout with diversity among each hole. This will definitely be a normal destination for me moving forward.
Great course
Golfer friendly course 4 tee boxes snd I combo green/white 5800 yards perfect got my game greens and fairways great shape pace of ply slow on Friday also played 36 here on Wednesday much better prices on Monday to Wednesday than Thursday to Sunday but I was on vacation so I paid a discounted but still high rate on Friday vs the senior Wednesday rate and the $40 replay rate. Would suggest small bucket of balls be included in the rate esp Thursday to Sunday. No collets on carts so I assume u can bring a cooler. Bottom line I shall return
Must Play Here
Awesome course
Played on 10/8/2021
Staff was super friendly
Course is beautiful, well maintained and nice scenery
Tough but fair course
I thought $120 a bit on pricey side, however it was a great course/experience
Highly recommend
Great Course, Horrible Pace/Ranger
This is a well maintained course with little to complain about in terms of conditions, save for a couple areas that could have better drainage.
The horrible part was my experience with pace of play, which I hope is not the norm, especially considering their greens fees.
I had a 2:32pm tee time, but didn’t get to tee off until 2:58, getting nearly 30 minutes behind schedule is simply unacceptable. We proceeded to wait on every single tee box. The ranger decided to create group of 6 ahead of our 3, which ironically didn’t make our pace of play any slower because the course was moving so slow they were able to keep pace with the group ahead of them.
Ultimately, we were only able to play 14 holes until it was too dark to see. That’s well over a 5 hour pace, nearly 6 if counting from when we should have been teeing off. Charging over $100 for that experience can’t happen, my only saving grace was it was a hot deal at $65.
Horrible
Really unhappy at this golf course first they changed my tee time to 25 minutes later with out notification and then there was a half hour wait. only got 12 holes in. Super slow pace of playing and the ranger did nothing about it no way worth the money!!!!
Good conditions considering.
Considering the amount of rain received in the area this summer, the course was in good shape. All par 3s and several par 4s were cart paths only, in an attempt to spare the fairways. Completely understandable and this did not negatively impact our round which was fun and challenging, especially given the added length of the course given the lack of roll after our balls landed. Perhaps the course could have been set up with the tees forward to help the average golfer. Otherwise, it was a good course, staff was helpful and friendly and we will definitely be back!
Chart path only, 45 minute delay in teeing off, front 9 was slow, members playing replayed the front 9 again so pace of play improved. 5 hour round
Slowest course ever......
The conditions were great but the pace of play is unbearable. We tee’d off 35 minutes late and it took 3 hours to finish the front 9. We complained but because we booked through GolfNow, they wouldn’t do anything for us so we just left after the front 9.
It’s not worth the wait!!!
Good course but
like other reviews have said, the pace of play is kinda slow. Plan on a 5 hour round if playing on the weekends (including Friday). The conditions are excellent and the layout is great. Easy course to walk also.
Golf 9/8
Bag attendant was very rude. I am immunocompromised and he gave me a difficult time when I asked to ride alone. He acted immature. He questioned my diagnosis. Being immunocompromised during the pandemic has very few difficult and golfing has been a an opportunity to still interact with people and have some semblance of normalcy.
The course was fine. No issues.
Very slow play
Granted it was a holiday weekend, but teetime intervals were too tight. Teetime was 10:24 and we didn’t tee off until 10:45….4 hours later we walked off the course after 12 holes
