About
The Harbor Pines Golf Club is a public facility that boasts an 18-hole, four-star golf course with subtle, breaking greens that provide a challenge for all golfers. The holes are very private and the fairways are wide and open.
The environment friendly course is a local favorite and is considered among women to be one of the best courses for women to play on. The beautiful natural landscape with seventeen acres of water and 520 acres of forestry has even been certified as an National Audubon Sanctuary. The relatively flat course does offer challenges for experienced golfers but it will not be too difficult for intermediate or beginning golfers. Both the 16th and 17th holes are difficult par-4's and the course has various hazards scattered throughout.

Saturday fall round
Course was in good shape although recently aerated. They had a large group in front of us which slowed down play and we would have finished before dark but couldn't finish the last 2 holes safely due to their slowness. I think if they are going to reserve a group of 20 on a Saturday they should note on the web-site. The ranger did try to speed up their play but it didn't happen. Round would have taken 5 hours. We waited on almost all holes starting at 9
Very overbooked
While I realize everyone and their mother is trying to play golf nowadays but the course was overbooked by at least 2 groups per hour. Our tee time was pushed back 35 minutes. Staff was very friendly under the circumstances and course was in decent shape. We only got 14 holes in and were looking at a good 5+ hour round.
Great Value
Lot of down hill greens so keep your approach shots below the pin or risk some long roles past the hole if you misread the putt. Otherwise the Course is in great shape and provides some challenging holes.

Ruined my day
Course is In okay shape. I booked the first 7am tee time and they put two groups on the back 9 so when I got to 10 I was at a standstill. I planned on finishing quick but had to skip multiple holes. When I hit 14/15 they had maintenance working on the greens so I couldn’t see where the flag was and skipped those as well. Bunkers weren’t raked and had rocks everywhere. Will never come back, it’s worth about $50 to play here not $87.
Really enjoyed the round very nice conditions
Met up with a great twosome and conditions of course were very good and layout nice. Veranda first dinner and drinks after.
Great course!
Fairways and greens very nice. A few greens still healing from aeration but very minimal. Layout and other golfers and staff all excellent. Was pretty packed but that’s par for the course now. Fun day.
Exceeded our expectations.
The course was in excellent shape all around. The range, restaurant and staff were top notch as well. Our group of 8 had many first timers playing this course and all were impressed.
Harbor review
The course was in excellent condition. The greens were too fast for my liking but they were well maintained. Rangers were in various places helping pace of play and were very friendly. Plenty of divot fixing mixture was supplied. Nice day in the course
