About
Brookledge Golf Club sprawls across more than 120 acres of gently rolling hills and mature woodlands. The course is an Arthur Hills design and considered one of the finest public golf courses in northeast Ohio. Originally opened in 1988, the course later underwent a major renovation that included the installation of a new aeration system and the replacement of all the sand traps. The golf course is challenging with trees lining the fairways and framing the greens, leaving little room for error off the tees or on the approaches. The greens are subtly elevated and well protected by mounding and bunkers. Brookledge Golf Club's tricky putting surfaces have mild undulations that can cause subtle breaks in putts. Trees play a more prominent role on the back nine, especially on the closing holes.

Always a gem
Country club conditions, for a city owned public course. I was shocked at the courses condition for this time of year. It’s by far one of the best maintained courses within 40 miles. Layout is not my favorite in Ohio , but it’s always a fun round when my friends and I book. Don’t second guess booking here it will be memorable.

Nice course with a nasty starter
The course was in a good shape. Nice fast greens and challenging layout. However, the starter gave me a hard time once he found out I got the tee time through Golfnow. He told me Golfnow was bad for the course and they should stop taking tee times through Golfnow. Even though the tee box was open for 20 minutes, he had two of us wait until our tee time and just kept complaining about Golfnow. I had to move away from the tee box to not be bothered by his whiny crap. Such a shame to have that bad taste in my mouth before playing , otherwise, a nice course.

Fall golf
The course is still nice and green, thanks to great course maintenance.
Recent green aeration made the greens much slower, but they should be back in another week or two. Looking forward to playing in the next week

Haven’t played here in like 10 years.
It was pretty good compared to what I remember. Greens could be a little faster but it was a 7am tee time. Will be back next time I’m in town.

STAFF THERE IS A JOKE!!!
Every time I’ve been to this course over the years, the staff, mostly the starters and groundsmen, are nothing short of rude inconsiderate blowhards. When you arrive the starter abruptly rushes you out to the tee box and demands you start immediately. This is because they value money over logical tee time spacing. Then they’ll rush you along if they have outings or bigger groups even though you paid money to be out there as well. If the Golf Now app didn’t have an 18 hole booking for 25$ there, I would’ve never gone back based on my past experiences anyway. It’s just sad to know after 4 years nothing has changed.

Great public course
Course was great but we could only play 9 holes due to an injury. Unfortunately the club would not give us a credit to play the back nine in a couple of weeks. The club said I needed to get a refund from GolfNow. But GolfNow is totally unavailable to help me because I’m not a premium member. Bottom line, the course said to book direct with the course in the future and avoid GolNow.
This is good advice. Sorry GolfNow, but you guys have really gone down hill. When even the courses recommend not working with you - you should take notice.
