About
Brookledge Golf Club sprawls across more than 120 acres of gently rolling hills and mature woodlands. The course is an Arthur Hills design and considered one of the finest public golf courses in northeast Ohio. Originally opened in 1988, the course later underwent a major renovation that included the installation of a new aeration system and the replacement of all the sand traps. The golf course is challenging with trees lining the fairways and framing the greens, leaving little room for error off the tees or on the approaches. The greens are subtly elevated and well protected by mounding and bunkers. Brookledge Golf Club's tricky putting surfaces have mild undulations that can cause subtle breaks in putts. Trees play a more prominent role on the back nine, especially on the closing holes.

Great Course
Really contends for top public course in the area. Course was in great shape, best I have seen it. They have done very well with it. Value is also good. Pace of play can be an issue here sometimes but usually you wont have an over 4 hour round. Would recommend to anyone.
Course experience
Although it was a rainy day, it was a wonderful experience. The course itself is well laid out and beautiful holes. There were a few spots under construction but I can’t wait to go back again. Because the course is rated as a top contender, I would of expected a more updated club house and a little better selection of food or logo balls but it wasn’t too bad! Good price for exciting holes.

Good value
Nice course , although not a big hitter and we played the blue tees and it seemed like most white tees I play pace of play was great finished in 4 hours

Pace of Play
Pace of play was extremely slow due to overbooking.
I played as a single in a cart for 18 holes. The front 9 took 2:45 mins. Wait time of roughly 15 minutes from the first hole, all the way through the front 9. However, the starter did inform me that they were extremely booked and pace of play would in fact be awful. As such, I did receive notice of the conditions. Furthermore, many of the groups slowing pace played only 9 holes. As such, I was able to finish the back 9 within 1:20 mins.
The course was in great shape and the greens were kept very clean. Moderately challenging course as I felt like I played well and still ended up with normal, 95.
Carts are extremely responsive, both in terms of pedal pressure and steering control.
I recommend this course but you should call to get an idea of what the course booking for the day is like, even if you ultimately purchase the round on here there.

Great Changes
Course is in great condition, greens smooth and rolling fast.. love the changes they have made to the course by cutting down some trees around the par 5 hole #6...
Played early morning, and few sprinklers were still on...besides that...very nice

Great Course But Outings Killed Pace Of Play
I've played here at least 30 times, and it is a great course worth a $50-$60 weekend morning tee time. Course was in great shape in every aspect. My complaint is I booked an afternoon tee time for $31 for 18 thinking it was late enough to get a reduced rate. I show up to find out they had an outing start 1.5 hours before my tee time and quickly understand why it was a reduced rate. I wouldn't have booked this if I'd known beforehand. I was looking forward to golfing 18 in under 4 hours, but instead I golfed 9 in 2 hours and 40 minutes waiting on every hole before every shot. I didn't bother making the turn.

Awful pace of play
Horrible back up on the course. Took us three hours to play 9 holes and then sat on the 10th tee for about 20 minutes before just calling it quits. Told the starter about the issue and he could not have cared less. The course is beautiful and in great shape, but something needs to be done about slow pace.

Great new look
I like the upgrades the course has installed by removing some trees up on the hill by the Par 5. Course was in great condition, practice putting green speeds actually match the speeds on the course. Friendly staff as always...the sprinkler timing early in the morning is off and may need to be adjusted based on early tee times....we got a free shower on a few holes...lol

They weather was perfect and it was a Frioay.. I appreciate the fact that everyone wanted to play. If there are that many tee times allowed and no ranger than I will chose to not play there. We payed for 18 and decided to quit after 9. If the pace of play were going to remain the same I was not going to spend all 6 hours on the course...

Nice course
I would definitely recommend this course, especially after what happened to me. I left my wallet in the golf cart, when I got home 30 min later, I called the course and told me to head back someone will most likely turn it in. When I arrived no one had and I began to panic. He calmly said get in the cart, we are driving out on the course and stopping everyone to find it and after 4 holes, we found it in a cart. God Bless Them!!!
