Glenross Golf Course
About
Glenross Golf Club seamlessly blends elements of traditional design with more modern features. Formerly known as Tanglewood Golf Course, five new holes were added in an extensive renovation. The original 13 holes were also redesigned from tee to green. The mature oak trees were carefully maintained though and still come into play along the fairways in addition to the hundreds of trees that were added. The gentle hills provide rolling fairways and undulating greens that demand accuracy. There are seven ponds and a meandering creek that come into play throughout as well as some 50 sand traps strategically placed along the greensides. Glenross Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 14th, which requires a carry over water to a small green but the most difficult hole comes earlier. The par-4 fifth has towering trees to the left, bunkers to the right, and a creek crossing the fairway.

Pace was a little slow due to foursome two groups ahead of our threesome. Some spotty sections in some fairways & on some green.
Very nice course
After playing the old course for many years I was delighted to play the new version and I was not disappointed. There are traces of the old course which was good to see and brought back many memories. I would highly recommend this course. It's a fun course to play and was in great shape except for the bunkers.
Great layout

Constant Slow Pace of Play
I’ve played this course probably 6-7 times over the last year as I moved within 5 minutes of the course. Every single time I play here pace of play is a major problem. It takes, on average, 5 hours to play 18 here. Yesterday, I played here and there were several tees where there were three separate groups waiting at the tee box because pace was so slow. I’ve never seen a course marshal going around to help with the bottleneck and speed people along. I ended up leaving yesterday after having only played 9 because it took 2.5 hours to get to the turn. I don’t understand why this course is especially bad as there are several others in the area owned by the same company that don’t have this issue.
It’s a nice course, but unless you go during the off hour on a weekday, expect slow play.
Glenross
Considering the current drought conditions, this course was in very good condition. Very enjoyable experience
Great course
I started playing at this course 30+ years ago when it was a flat, wide open track known as Tanglewood and when there was very little else on Cheshire Road. My how times have changed! The course is now surrounded by beautiful homes and has been redesigned with plenty of contour, sand, water, etc. Considering how hot and dry it has been, the course was in excellent shape. There were a few burned out spots in the fairway, but the tees and greens were all nice, and the greens held good approach shots and rolled well on putts. Great course if you can find a deal getting you 18 with a cart for under $40.00.
Whatever
Outrageous price if u don’t have a GolfNow hot deal, wouldn’t play it at their regular rates, and u shouldn’t either. Maybe they will change their dynamic price structure.
Glen Ross
Greens were horrible—-many dead spots
Bunkers were atrocious, no sand, weren’t raked
Nice course
Pace of play was good. Some spots in the greens were unplayable but it was limited. Nice layout . I do wish it was longer. I played from one tee up at 6100. Even the rear tees were under 6600. Greens were soft and so were fairways.. All in all, I enjoyed the course.Fun little track.
A fun round
A fun round and good value for the price I paid. Round was 4.5hrs. No marshall so push groups along and I only saw the beverage cart when we were at the 18th hole.
Pin Location
The pin locations on the green were day 4 PGA tournament location, I have never seen a course set up this way for general public. If they do this again when or if I play there again it will be my last round there. Period. Can’t recommend this course with pins in those positions.
Fun course
I had a great time golfing here. Staff was good and the course was fun.
Solid 4
Solid 4, only thing missing is a driving range. Course conditions were great. The fairways were amazing better than some country clubs I’ve played.
You can tell that it is a muni course because people do not fix their diets or clean up their fairway divot work.
Pace of play a just a little slow though not bad at 4:45.
The nickname that a local told us when We played is accurate in that of Glenn Rough. The second cut can be heavy at times, take your punishment, get out and enjoy your game.
