About
Glenross Golf Club seamlessly blends elements of traditional design with more modern features. Formerly known as Tanglewood Golf Course, five new holes were added in an extensive renovation. The original 13 holes were also redesigned from tee to green. The mature oak trees were carefully maintained though and still come into play along the fairways in addition to the hundreds of trees that were added. The gentle hills provide rolling fairways and undulating greens that demand accuracy. There are seven ponds and a meandering creek that come into play throughout as well as some 50 sand traps strategically placed along the greensides. Glenross Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 14th, which requires a carry over water to a small green but the most difficult hole comes earlier. The par-4 fifth has towering trees to the left, bunkers to the right, and a creek crossing the fairway.

Nice course, good shape, super-nice staff, quick pace of play for evening golf.
Fair, friendly and fun
Always enjoy Glenross. Course in very good shape. Greens smooth, fairways lush. Good challenge from any set of tees.
Bunkers were raked
Really good shape for this time of the year. Was amazed that most of the bunkers were raked. Maintenance going on while we were playing. This shows that they are getting the course in shape.
Great shape as usual!
Very enjoyable round; course was in very good shape and looked great. Greens were a little slower than they appeared. It was fairly windy with many leaves down, which caused a little trouble finding slightly wayward shots in the rough. Pace was slow, as we waited for the 3some in front of us every shot. Until they let us pass them on the 8th hole...then we were able to play very quickly the rest of the round. Great day overall, and I would like to play the course again soon!
Very nice course
Greens had been aerated but were still good. Fairways and tee boxes very good, sand traps need some work - and sand. I would play there again.
Nice course, rough is penal
Overall, course is really in good condition. Greens and tees in great shape. Fairways are in good shape. The rough is cut too long for the average golfer. It is extremely difficult to hit a controllable shot out of the rough, but more importantly, many balls are lost in it. This slows play down play by 15-25 minutes per round. I found six balls in the rough which were not mine!!

Came to this course from out of town and was not disappointed. Course in very good shape and interesting layout.
Great course
Really enjoyed the round. First round here this year and pace of play used to be a problem but has definitely improved. Course was in great condition and looked amazing.
Pace of play was horrible, the foursome in front of us could not hit the ball and do the fairway at all. And would not let us play through. They spent much of the time looking for balls in the wild flowers.
