Glenross Golf Course
About
Glenross Golf Club seamlessly blends elements of traditional design with more modern features. Formerly known as Tanglewood Golf Course, five new holes were added in an extensive renovation. The original 13 holes were also redesigned from tee to green. The mature oak trees were carefully maintained though and still come into play along the fairways in addition to the hundreds of trees that were added. The gentle hills provide rolling fairways and undulating greens that demand accuracy. There are seven ponds and a meandering creek that come into play throughout as well as some 50 sand traps strategically placed along the greensides. Glenross Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 14th, which requires a carry over water to a small green but the most difficult hole comes earlier. The par-4 fifth has towering trees to the left, bunkers to the right, and a creek crossing the fairway.

Confidence building
If u play the whites you’ll have lots of scoring opps! Greens roll true ...very happy w the value 5*
Pace of play a little slow and the course was pretty dry but had a good time other than that.
Bad Experience because of Worker
The course starter at Glenross was extremely rude. My group had plenty of time for our tee time but were continually rushed along by the starter and treated with disrespect. The majority of my group had never played the course before, so starting the round off with an overly rude worker was very disappointing. The course itself played great, but because of how we were treated will most likely never go back.
Short course with incredibly difficult greens
Glenross is a decent course that’s part of the New Era Golf group. There is no real practice area outside of the putting area. The course itself is a decent design but a bit on the shorter side. To make the course a bit more difficult the greens have an obscene amount of undulations. To be blunt I find this very annoying. It feels unnecessary and more reactive vs proactive during the design.
Glenross
Beautiful course. I absolutely loved the layout. Lots of fun, short holes. The rough is extremely penalizing so you better bring your A game and hit those fairways! Well manicured all the way around and the greens were fantastic.
Awful pace of play
Pace of play was glacial. There were “somehow” 3 groups with tee times within 11 minutes of each other. Was told it was an internet issue. Absolutely nobody on the course enforcing pace of play. Saw 1 sixsome, and another group was playing a 4 man scramble when it was path only. In 5 hours we got 15 holes in. I will not be going back on a weekend
Glenross Golf Course
I have played Glenross about once a year for a few years and then now twice this year. Very nice course, well kept. It was wet, but it rained yesterday. Cart path only, which we did not know until we arrived, probably would have brought different equipment and walked had we known ahead of time. Cart path only leads to lots of walking for us and takes a little longer walking back and forth. Overall....a great day at the course and we will be back.
Beautiful course
I wish is wasn’t so windy and wet but that’s what you get for playing after rain. Beautiful course with awesome fairways. Fast greens to add the nice degree of difficulty. We will definitely be back again!
Keep up the great work !!!
For early April and the virus going on it was joy to play Glenross GC this week. One person per cart but were solidly sanitized and cleaned. Pre paid so checked in at outside window and was paired up with others and off we went. Greens were very receptive and fast, fairway were lush, tee markers not out yet and can't hand out scorecards but many online locations and apps to find golf course info. Staff was great but due to virus unable to serve food and drinks. It's early but hopefully they will be putting out restroom facilities when ever allowed by the state. Great location just 10 min off I-71 at 36/37 exit by Alum Creek Reservoir. Come on out and play. Will definitely return soon--weather permitted.
Nice shot gun Start with frost delay!!!
Drove from Cleveland to play and can't wait to play again!!!!
Best round of the year
Shot 68 First time ever at 61 years of age
Short course had some lucky bounces
Holed out from 100 yards on 9 for eagle
Practice at TopGolf really paying off
Playing Golf in OHIO in Dec
Great price and round shot 73 with lift-clean-place rules
45 degrees at tee time at 12 and 35 degrees by end of round
Great round
The course was in great condition and the price was right.
Fun and Playable
Havent been in a while. I am a golfer on a budget. Play to a 4hcp. I place course condition, more specifically greens condition at the very top of my list for rating a course.
Glenn Ross had good greens. Not too bumpy with good grain and receptive even though we haven't had any real rain
In weeks. The fairways and bunkers were also in good shape
And the layout has good classic looks. I will be back next time I can get on for $36
Noodles are being used in the cups so no use to touch flagstick.
How did the have the pins set up? Cups raised, cups upside down, pool noodle around tge stick?
