Glenross Golf Course
About
Glenross Golf Club seamlessly blends elements of traditional design with more modern features. Formerly known as Tanglewood Golf Course, five new holes were added in an extensive renovation. The original 13 holes were also redesigned from tee to green. The mature oak trees were carefully maintained though and still come into play along the fairways in addition to the hundreds of trees that were added. The gentle hills provide rolling fairways and undulating greens that demand accuracy. There are seven ponds and a meandering creek that come into play throughout as well as some 50 sand traps strategically placed along the greensides. Glenross Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 14th, which requires a carry over water to a small green but the most difficult hole comes earlier. The par-4 fifth has towering trees to the left, bunkers to the right, and a creek crossing the fairway.

good layout
would reconmend this to anybody. very good layout. fun to play
Sl-o-o-w pla-a-y...gr-r-eat!!!
First 5-ish hour round this year. No rangers. 3 groups drove by the slow group. Maybe five groups played through them. When we finally became the group behind them we found they were hitting multiple balls and one guy seemed to be coaching them or something.
All I could think of was the Golf Now commercial...Slo-o-w pla-a-a-y...gr-r-eat!!!
Several tees so good for all levels.
Friendly staff and full service grill/bar. Course in decent shape for early season play. Very fair layout and not many forced carry shots. My wife played withg me and she enjoyed the course aqs well.
Excellant greens! This course can be fun from the up tees and challenging from the tips.
I have played this course twice. The greens are excellent, fairways in good shape. Rough is how rough should be, which is to penalize the player. White tees are very easy while the tips are challenging.
fine course
goose droppings on almost every fairway and some greens was not expected for such a nice course.
good value
great shape for time of year -greens in good shape sand traps not maintained which is standard for this time of year
This course has fun.
I will visit again.
In this course, I want to enjoy next year.
Great condition for November
It was cold, windy and overcast the day we played. There weren' t many other golfers out there. But the condition of the course was great. The greens, aerated about six weeks earlier, rolled great. The fairways had few divots. Except for being colder than expected, the experience was great. The obviously talented grounds crew was working as if it was mid-summer, and the course reflected their care.
great value for the money
I've played GlenRoss several times and never seen it play as slow as it did 10/17. We waited on almost every shot, they needed a marshall on the course to move play along.
Excellent condition. Wicked greens
Our first time to play this course, and we'll be back.
Very Accommodating
When we arrived at the course they had just aireated the greens and the back nine was closed. The pro allowed us to play the front nine twice and then gave us a rain check to return later and play the full course.
Good Value - Good Condition
Challenging and in good shape for a public track this late in the year.
Very nice course
Really nice golf course pretty well maintained. Plus it was on hot deal for $22. Very nice clubhouse and bar.
Playable course
I played this course on a Friday afternoon. The staff was very friendly. The front nine is fairly close together. The back nine wanders through a housing development. Determining yardage was difficult at times due to lack of information on sprinkler heads. Overall, a slightly above average experience.
Back side better maintained and easier to score on.
Nice course, A little pricey unless you get a golfnow discount.
OK Course
This course is Ok but its nothing exceptional. I feel its over priced. There are better deals out there for the money.
Great shape!
Course was in great shape, even w/the dry weather. Makes up for its lack of length w/challenging greens.
