Glenross Golf Course
About
Glenross Golf Club seamlessly blends elements of traditional design with more modern features. Formerly known as Tanglewood Golf Course, five new holes were added in an extensive renovation. The original 13 holes were also redesigned from tee to green. The mature oak trees were carefully maintained though and still come into play along the fairways in addition to the hundreds of trees that were added. The gentle hills provide rolling fairways and undulating greens that demand accuracy. There are seven ponds and a meandering creek that come into play throughout as well as some 50 sand traps strategically placed along the greensides. Glenross Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 14th, which requires a carry over water to a small green but the most difficult hole comes earlier. The par-4 fifth has towering trees to the left, bunkers to the right, and a creek crossing the fairway.

Very friendly staff made one feel welcome and the course and carts were excellent
Would recommend this course based on the courteous staff, spacious fairways and convenient location
Fun course
I really enjoyed the layout of this course. I do not recommend walking as there is a substantial distance between some of the tee's. The fairways were in great shape, rough was thick, and greens were fast. For the most part the greens were smooth but had a few bumps here and there. Sandtraps were maintained and although wet when we played, very predictable and easy to get out of. I feel this course has the perfect level of difficulty. There are fairway bunkers and obstacles all over. You cant just grip and rip but if you choose the right club off the tee you should have no problems.
Great course and great value
Finally made the drive up from Columbus to check this course out. Was very surprised a the excellent course design and condition for $22 it was great deal. Pace of play was slow but the windy condition contributed to the slow play.
Course in good shape and the greens were even better

Too many houses
I don't like this course. It has some very nice qualities, bent grass tee to green, greens are fast and in great shape, and it s not terribly long but there is enough trouble to keep you honest, however, nearly the entire course is in someone s backyard. If you enjoy playing golf on a well kept course in the middle of several housing developments than look no further, personally I prefer trees or countryside over suburban sprawl.
Great course for the money!
Glenross is always fun, not a very long course but provides some challenging holes. This is not a driver and wedge course on every hole. You have options off the tee on most holes offering some risk/reward opportunities. The staff is always friendly and the course is in great condition. Greens are rolling true. Bunkers could use a some attention as they have some hard spots and it's like hitting off of concrete. Good course and if you can find some online deals, go for it!!
Interesting course through development
I really enjoy this course. I like the back 9 the best where you play through a new housing development. Nice fairways.
Excellent greens.
Great value for the day we played. Course was in outstanding shape and pace of play was outstanding. Fairways had been aerated, but still gave a fair roll out. I have not played this course in35 years and was very impressed with the improvements they have made.
Worst greens in Ohio, PERIOD!
There must be a 10,000 golfers with broken backs because the greens were so riddled with ball marks, its a shame to even call them greens.
would play again
Decent course from Blue tees. greens had been aerated recently but were mostly grown in.
This course was great fun at a great price.
I thoroughly enjoyed playing. The course was in great shape and it wasn't too difficult as long as you hit the ball reasonaably well. I shot my best score ever here so I am very happy with everything. I love being in Ohio in the fall...Go Buckeyes!!!
rushed by starter to tee off early for agonizingly slow play
Nicely maintained course. Course is fairly boring, a lot of holes with just a few traps.
Starter pressured us to get to the first tee early, where we proceeded to wait at least ten minutes before we could tee off. We waited on every hole--very aggravating.
Nice course, well maintained.
We have played the course several times and enjoyed the course most times. We were extremely disappointed last visit. We took our neighbors and we had a mower on at least 7 holes while we playing and he continued to mow while we were driving and then on about 5 holes they were spraying the greens and didn't get off the greens when we were hitting our approach shots and the hoses actually stopped our balls or directed them off the green. Really destroyed the round!
Nice course
Very forgiving and in great shape. Joy to play. Greens in good shape.
just punched
Great price, but a little disappointing to arrive and see the greens had just been punched (played two days ago also) and I had to play the back nine twice due to the back nine down for maintenance
Greens are fantastic, keep up the good work!
Friendly people, great course for younger and older. Handicap
friendly where you can drive the carts, that is a big deal, my
Dad is 78 and in the heat it helps him save his energy so he can
get 18 holes in with energy.
Nice course, but short
The last time I played this course it was called Tanglewood (which was a LONG time ago). So I was anxious to see what improvements had been made. This was a huge improvement! The course is very well maintained and the greens are fast and hard. The course relatively short (par 70) and some of the par 3's could be reached with a sand wedge. Also, the greens could use a little repair. They look great, but there are ball divots everywhere. it's not the course, just people not fixing them. Overall, it's much better than I remember it and I'd certainly be happy to play it again.
Excellent staff. Great course
Outstanding course. Pro shop staff members are very helpful/knowledgable
Great condition
The course has been well maintained and the greens were fast.
