About
Glenross Golf Club seamlessly blends elements of traditional design with more modern features. Formerly known as Tanglewood Golf Course, five new holes were added in an extensive renovation. The original 13 holes were also redesigned from tee to green. The mature oak trees were carefully maintained though and still come into play along the fairways in addition to the hundreds of trees that were added. The gentle hills provide rolling fairways and undulating greens that demand accuracy. There are seven ponds and a meandering creek that come into play throughout as well as some 50 sand traps strategically placed along the greensides. Glenross Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 14th, which requires a carry over water to a small green but the most difficult hole comes earlier. The par-4 fifth has towering trees to the left, bunkers to the right, and a creek crossing the fairway.

Good condition
Fairways in great shape for time of year. Traps have not been touched for a long time. That’s a shame. Players don’t repair ball marks on greens. Common for a lot of courses these days.

We played on a Monday. Obviously a popular course as it played very slow like a weekend. Very nice course and well cared for but was hoping for quicker play on a weekday. Can't control the popularity.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Great track, avoid league night
Beautiful evening for 9 holes, and a beautiful course. Unfortunately it was a league night where a 4some took plenty of time and of course didn’t let anyone play through. Tee box got backed up where 3 separate groups were waiting on them by the 5th hole. I get that members get priority but yeesh.. Good note to get an early tee time so that you can enjoy this course with a respectable pace of play. Clubhouse is under renovation so a tent is set up in its stead.
4/5 stars.
Pace of play problems
Nice course overall but seems to always have pace of play issues. This round specifically was extremely slow. People were playing with small children and that shouldn’t be allowed especially when the course is this busy. If they could improve pace of play here it would be great.

Nice Course!!
Links style course that is a great length for the average golfer. Still challenging with water, tree lined fairways and bunkers. The course was in great shape and the staff was very friendly. I played after 4pm and received a twilight rate which was basically half price. That was a super bargain. I highly recommend it.
