About
Glenross Golf Club seamlessly blends elements of traditional design with more modern features. Formerly known as Tanglewood Golf Course, five new holes were added in an extensive renovation. The original 13 holes were also redesigned from tee to green. The mature oak trees were carefully maintained though and still come into play along the fairways in addition to the hundreds of trees that were added. The gentle hills provide rolling fairways and undulating greens that demand accuracy. There are seven ponds and a meandering creek that come into play throughout as well as some 50 sand traps strategically placed along the greensides. Glenross Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 14th, which requires a carry over water to a small green but the most difficult hole comes earlier. The par-4 fifth has towering trees to the left, bunkers to the right, and a creek crossing the fairway.

Slow Slow Slow - No Course Rangers
Very slow pace. Even in the past I have taken a rain check after 9 holes. There was a group ahead of ours that were smashing their clubs on the putting green. I saw cigar Stubbs on the green. Some to check the pace of play will be helpful. This course should be done with in or around 4 hrs

Nice course
The course is well maintained and the staff is friendly. The club house is closed due to a fire but everything ran smooth. I'll be back!

Good course, weird experience
The course was in great shape and enjoyable to play. However, the clubhouse was under construction so they had a makeshift pro shop set up outside which was odd enough, but things happen no big deal. I was by myself which I like to do to relax, play fast, and practice. They informed me that I would be playing with another 3 sum as their 4th. This has never happened to me before. Luckily, I got along with the group. Still I just thought it was really odd and unprofessional.

Great course!!!!
Loved everything about this course. Tee’d off second earliest tee time while mowers were out cutting the grass, I would have only hoped that they paid a little more attention to us when we were on the tee box, instead we waited to until they finally looked up and cleared the fairway. My only actual complain is the rough, it is SO long that if you’re not on the fairway or green, you would spend way too much time searching for your ball, PGA condition tough. Fun to play out of, but finding ball was difficult. There was a kitchen fire so don’t expect the amenities to be open as they repair and renovate the clubhouse.

Wow!
Excellent course, layout and condition. We got off at 6:30 a.m and never looked back. The only thing I would have you expect when you play this early is the mowers. Most of them waved us along but some were so into cutting that we waited on tee boxes for them to look up at us and allow us to tee off. Also, they had a kitchen fire and are currently remediating the damage.

Great course
My experience while playing this course was quite enjoyable. The clubhouse was burned severely so everything is outside in a small shack. The course is in magnificent shape and will definitely be back in the future.
