About
High Point Golf Club is a public course in Montague that has been around since 1966. The course has since undergone major renovations but it still retains the original character of the design. The layout is routed between two massive, sparkling lakes. You won't find any parallel holes on this golf course, it provides plenty of space so you don't have to worry about errant drives. High Point is seemingly mild, but don't be fooled by the traditional 6,783-yard layout. There is a surprising amount of bite to this golf course. Each hole presents a unique challenge but what they have in common are the rolling fairways that are subtly contoured. They leave for some difficult and creative approaches. In addition to the golf course, High Point also has a driving range available as well as putting and chipping greens.

Beautiful scenery - lots of water!
Greens were well-maintained. Fairways were nice as well. Tee boxes were in pretty rough shape at least for 3/4 of the 18 holes. Staff met me in the parking lot with a cart and knew who I was and my tee time; first time there. That was A+ service. A few holes were overwater, which was beautiful for the scenery but difficult for shots at times. Three of the holes were and pretty blind so you couldn’t see the flag. Overall, I paid $40 on a Friday to play from 11 AM to 3 PM. Pace of play was good. Just about 4 hours to play 18 with a cart. I would play here again and be mindful of the mistakes I made near the water. The greens are some of the toughest I’ve played even though I’m novice. Not flat at all for most of them, but some are easy to read, even though there are large breaks at times.
Worth the trip
Love the various challenges w water. Some bunkers need help and also last sec changes because of leagues have you only playing half the course twice, but still worth it. Helped as I hit 51 first time and 43 the second :-)
Greens and fairways in great shape, rough short and manageable. Tee boxes hard and bunkers need better sand. Friendly staff
The most interesting course layout I've ever played.
Very challenging course with lots of water. It's also spread out among residential areas and would be quite a challenge to walk. (I didn't see anyone walking)
Always happy with this course
So far, so good this year. No real problems. They weren't releasing players every 8 minutes this week so the pace was good.
Staff is all young, but very friendly.
Course conditions are great and i love the layout..
