White/Red at Ramblewood Country Club
About
Ramblewood Country Club is one of the Delaware Valley's most popular golfing destinations. There are 27 holes of championship golf available, which are divided into three nines called the Red, White, and Blue. With three 18-hole combinations, there is plenty of variety. The White/Red golf course is the original 18 holes when the club first opened in 1962. The Blue nine was added a decade later. The two nines are more similar in design and character than the Blue, which is tighter and routed through mature pine forests. Throughout the golf course you'll find large, subtly undulating greens that are guarded by strategically placed bunkers. Water has a prominent presence throughout. There are forced carries over water on 12 holes. The forgiving fairways with their generous landing areas provide some respite.

Still having drainage issues
Played this course many times and they have always had drainage issues. Played the morning after a big rain storm but it was the first time it had rained in a week and the course was cart path only. So besides the soft and sometimes muddy conditions it is a very nice course with the three 9s offering plenty of variety.
Great Staff
Just under 4 hour round of golf on a Saturday afternoon. The staff was very helpful throughout. Blue Red is the best combo of 9’s.
nothing special
Nothing special about this facility (27 holes). Blue nine might be best of the three nines with minimal houses. Recommend as a nice public course.
Group opinion review
Some cart paths need serious work they are bumpy and broken. Our carts died 8holes in and nobody at club house would answer the phone. One of the guys in our group was 65 so the walk back was a struggle. It was just a shyty experience. The course has its days when its amazing but not tgus far this year after 6 rounds. Guys working the proshop are good guys very friendly and helpful probably the only reason id go back is because how well the treated us. I played a few times there last year and course was in immaculate condition couldnt wait to go back but not the case right now.
Fabulous round
Pace of play for a Friday was smooth and at well managed intervals. Could tell that a lot of TLC has been and continues to be invested in ground maintenance. Greens were faster than expected. It looks like the dawn of a great season, here’s hoping!
More fixing needed
Ron needs to spend more money on the course . New cart paths not repaired ones. Fill in the low spots on the fairways at least.
Winter golf
Mid Feb round after terrible weather the last few weeks.. With that being said course was In decent shape.. Fairways were soft but not wet.. Only 1 hole had standing water on it and was easily cleared with a decent drive.. Greens were soft but rolled really nice.. I enjoyed the round keeping in mind it’s winter golf in the north east.. Only other issue I had was the bar didn’t have any hot dogs..
Ramblewood Charm Continues
Having played this course since the early 80's, still a pleasure to see the consistent care and upkeep. Changes in ownership haven't affected the charm and challenge. Some new faces in the ProShop are friendly and a pleasure to speak with. Still soggy, cart path only was not a real burden. Look forward to returning on those long summer days, and play all 27.
White / Red
Played this course Today, 10/23/2018. Weather was perfect, Course was in great shape, Greens were in decent shape. Overall it was a good round. We played the round on a Hot deal Tee time from Golf now , So it was very Reasonable. Prices are a little high for a weekend round without any kind of deal. Overall 4/5 stars....
Just ordinary
There really isn’t too much to say about this course. The layout is OK the greens had a dressing on them so couldn’t tell if they were fast or slow. The people that run the place were very nice. But I wouldn’t go out of my way to play this course. For the price we paid on hot deal was Worth the money
Not worth anything over $30
Course conditions just aren’t good... fairways and tee boxes hadn’t been mowed in at least 4-5 days... the holes were all old and caved in, probably 3 days old if I had to guess, definitely not cut the day we played though. It really sucks that public golf needs to be like this in the area,
