About
Jamaica Run Golf Club offers one of the most challenging layouts in the Miami Valley. The difficult greens provide most of the trouble. They are small and hard to hit and on many holes they are elevated above the fairway, making it hard to play a run-up shot. The bentgrass fairways are spacious and thankfully more forgiving, but they are bordered by thick rough. Water hazards come into play on several holes. There is even one hole that crosses the meandering creek that runs through the golf course twice. The par-5 18th provides a memorable finish, requiring a tee shot past a large pond to a fairway that sits well below the pond. Finding the right club to use and a good spot to hit are nearly impossible.

OK course
They had too many people back to back to back and didnt start anyone on the tenth hole so the whole front nine we were waiting and letting singles play through. And because we were waiting so much we only got in 16/18 holes, but it was cheap.
Loooooooong wait Tee Please!!!
to many tee times close together. 5 plus hrs and still didnt finish 18 holes. Course is challenging but hard to wait 15 sometimes 20 mins in between holes.
Nice course, can score well here
First time playing this course and I want to go back because I know I can score better. It was really wet but the course was in pretty good shape. Staff was great. Will be back definitely on a hot deal!
Always a fun course to play
Played on a very hot day. Nice steady pace of play as the course wasn't very busy at our 11:37 tee time. Course was very firm considering the amount of rain we've had recently.

Better than last year
The starter and ranger have always been a big reason why I avoid this place. However the ranger this time was cordial, informative and helpful. Pleasent change. However the greens were a little worse then they used to be too. It was a give and take. But better none the less.
Beautiful Course
Had a good round starting with the time I walked into the clubhouse to the time I walked off of 18. The course was beautiful with the leaves changing. (The greens were hard due to them being arriated.) The course will be better for it in the spring. Good course to play.
Great people -- Good golf experience
What makes this course special are the friendly people. From check-in at the pro shop, to the starter at the tee, to the folks at the snack shop, everyone is freindly and easy-going. Unlike some other courses where the staff can sometimes add stress to the day, the people at Jamaica Run create a relaxing environment for a great day of golf.
