Couldn't play 18 because of aeration on the front 9, so had to go around twice. A good course that tests your short game skills. Greens are extremely small so you'll need to practice high loft swings on your short-game shots. Members were nice and offered much needed advice on each hole. The best hole on the back nine was #12 506 yds from the whites- lay up and select your approach carefully. Most interesting was 18, hitting over a levee that dog-rights hard.

great course to play on. I will definitely come back. The pace of play was great and everything seemed well maintained. Only downside was I only saw the beverage cart on my very last hole and at that point it was too late for me to want to get anything. Other than that great experience

It was an okay track, quite easy. The first 9 are all straight and wide, and even if you miss left or right you have shortish rough and just a few treas. Back 9 was more fun with a few other tee-shots than just a straight (driver) drive. They have some nice looking smaller pine treas around the course if that's your thing....

The ground was rock hard and some of the greens too. I had a high wedge shot bounce 20 feet up in the air of a green! Think this is due to a lack of water(ing). We also had a few lies that were on rock hard ground and had to be picked clean. Some greens were moist and softer... all greens had ugly ball marks and old cup marks.

The staff; pro-shop, starter, beer-cart-girl, watering-hole-lady, and even some course maintenance guys we met were all awesome!

My Review Title express my thoughts and feelings about the course.

The fairways were very green, short cut and really nice when your balls in the fairway. The rough was nice and green and not to tall. The bunkers were extremely nice lots of sand trimmed all the way around the outside. The greens were very nice not to hard and not to soft. In closing all around very nice course. Definitely will be going back.

Very slow pace of play. $16.5 rate was good. Course conditions not so good.

Terrible round. Mixed league was teeing off on one nine, would not let us go off back nine, last group in league was 25 minutes late, would not let us play thru or again let us go off on back nine. Staff would not take initiative to help move along. I will not go back.

Played with my 21 year old daughter and her boyfriend for her 1st time on a par 72 course and we had a great time. It was the perfect course for her to get some experience and learn about things like pace of play. It is a nice course to play a relaxing round, we didn't feel rushed and we weren't overwhelmed with it being too difficult. Plus we saved over $10.00 each by using Golf Now. Thanks.

The course was in good shape. Just a few little spots here and there. Greens tho were excellent.

Greens would not hold a shot that bounced. Quite a few cracked ground places on the course. Bunkers, tho, were nice and had the correct amount of sand. Need some new rakes, tho. Tee boxes were good not great. Bent grass is challenging enough but needed more grooming. All in all it was a good first time experience.

Cost of play on golf now was 29$ which is a pretty fair price for any golf course. The course is fairly easy to drive but the greens are smaller. The fairways were nice, the rough was trimmed, the greens had a lot of unprepared divots making putting harder and less presentable, and the bunkers were like rock. Overall the course wasn't that bad, the ball did not stick as all the ground was firm, could be just the end of July and hot weather. Food was fairly priced and they have rangers to speed pace of play. I think under 30$ it is a decent place, but if you can get another course for under 30$ play it. I'll try to play the course once a year, but no severely negative reviews here...

My 1st time playing here - really liked the course! Thank goodness I was paired up with a twosome that played there often, otherwise I'd have been lost. A lot of blind shots - which are fine as long as you know where and how far to take them.

I have played this course every year since it opened in 1989. Right now, it is in as good of shape as it ever has been. The course itself is not overly challenging but it has some tricky holes. I would recommend that anyone who has never played it or anyone who hasn't played it in a few to years to go play. Kudos to the golf course staff for the shape the course is in.

Great course, loved playing here. Layout is great.

As a first timer here, several of the holes were difficult to navigate without having a layout of the course on the score card. Aside from that it was a fun challenging course that was in very nice condition.

In town to see family played with older brother and 2 friends.had a great time playing this course for first time will definitely will play it again

Piles of grass just off the fairways, tons of dandilions makes it hard to find your ball. Better not miss the fairways

I played this course early in the year so conditions were not favorable however greens were in good condition and the course gets more challenging every year as it matures

We play Jamaica Run often, because it's on Golf Now. Staff is jovial and friendly. Starter keeps things moving and the conditions are always decent. It's not Shaker Run, but it's not $75 either....played 18 in 3-1/2 hours.
