About
Jamaica Run Golf Club offers one of the most challenging layouts in the Miami Valley. The difficult greens provide most of the trouble. They are small and hard to hit and on many holes they are elevated above the fairway, making it hard to play a run-up shot. The bentgrass fairways are spacious and thankfully more forgiving, but they are bordered by thick rough. Water hazards come into play on several holes. There is even one hole that crosses the meandering creek that runs through the golf course twice. The par-5 18th provides a memorable finish, requiring a tee shot past a large pond to a fairway that sits well below the pond. Finding the right club to use and a good spot to hit are nearly impossible.

I booked a foursome on app but when checking in, I was told we can only play front nine twice since back nine was airated. I was not aware of this from booking on app. While making the turn, there was quite a backup from those making turn and new tee times being made at same time. In addition, front was just airated and greens were still covered in sand and airated holes still present. The course could be nice if timing was right.

Rainy weekend cart path only
This is one of our favorite courses to play .. seems to always play different . We love it and the staff is awesome as well. Only needs to have beverage cart cruise around . Have a happy day

Great hidden track
We had never played here before but decided to drive up from Cincinnati since the price was so good.
When we arrived, there was some confusion about which side we were going off, but we were one of the first groups to go out, so we actually got to play an extra hole before turning around to play off the front. Staff was extremely friendly and kind about asking us to make this change, even though the old guys ahead of us were unreasonably salty about it.
Anyways, about the course, the greens and fairways were in great shape, and the rough was nicely mowed so we weren't hunting for errant balls all day. Layout is pretty straight forward, lots of long, straight holes, with a couple of wicked dog legs. My only complaint is that the tee boxes were in really, really rough condition. However, they are clearly working on getting them improved, as some of the holes we were teeing off adjacent to the tee boxes while the actual boxes were being repaired. All in all, a great time, will definitely go back.

Very poor shape, not worth 10 bucks
To charge 25 bucks for a hot deal is almost criminal. The course is in horrible shape and no end in site. You are ripping people off.

Worse over time.
Awful experience. Course used to be a nice budget course for a decent experience. Fairways were not cut. Tee boxes were in horrendous condition. Pace of play is set to cater to the senior members even if it’s on a Saturday. Will probably not be returning anytime soon.

Rough conditions
All white tee boxes were in bad shape. Ball washers had no water in them. Golf carts had no windshields and were very old. Clubhouse is old and dingy.

Not sure why the snack bar was all outside, but otherwise was a good round.

Very slow pace of play
Course layout and conditions were great, staff very friendly but no rangers, pace of play was so slow that every shot we need to wait 5 mins or longer, after while you loose your interest and concentrations,
I will only go there again if I have 5 or 6 hours to play 18 holes., some of signs on Tees are misleading and old, it definitely needs updated.
