White/Blue at Ramblewood Country Club
About
Ramblewood Country Club is one of the Delaware Valley's must-play golf destinations. The club offers 27 holes of championship golf, which means there are three different 18-hole combinations to choose from. The holes are divided into the Red, White, and Blue nines. The White/Blue Course begins with one of the original nines. The front half of the golf course has large greens with subtle but tricky undulations. There are also strategically placed bunkers and water coming into play throughout. You can expect some challenging holes, including a few forced carries over water, but the course is tempered by forgiving fairways that have generous landing areas. The back nine is much tighter than the front with mature pine trees framing most of the holes. Course management is the key to doing well on Ramblewood's Blue nine.

Another great round
The only reason pace of play was slow, was because they had a 9 hole closed (White) Usually this course has a great pace of play. Jaws did a very nice job with the course. The greens are fast and firm, and the fairways are like carpet. It doesn't get much better then this course. Difficult for all levels. If you're reading this, I'm definitely telling you to give it a shot and you won't regret it!
Course was like my game...
Respectable, but in need of improvement.
Played the Red, which was pretty uninteresting, then the blue, which was tighter and more challenging. Went out solo on a Monday, caught up with two members around the 4th hole who couldn't have been nicer, and certainly helped me navigate it.
The course had a fair amount of burnt spots, making it tough to hit from those areas. Traps are ok- I became somewhat familiar with them unfortunately. Greens were fine, though again, pretty uninteresting.
I heard Jaws is putting a lot of money into the place, and the clubhouse was pretty nice- the bar looked good, though I didn't stop for one. So hopefully they keep that up and put some renovation into the course to make it more memorable.
Nice course
I don't live in the immediate area but I was visiting family so I decided to give this course a try. The last time I had played here was long before Jaworski too over. The course conditions (I played Red and White - the Blue course was a little backed up), especially the greens, are much improved. If I'm in the area again I would definitely play here.
average
course in average shape at best maintenance workers have little regard for golfers
Jaw's New House
Played this course many times , Since Jaworski golf has taken control it has a very upscale vibe at the not so upscale price ! A real pleasure to play & dine at the new 7 TAP bar & Grill. I'll be back for sure .
Good course, but could be better.
This was my first time playing Ramblewood since the Ron Jaworski takeover, and I really did not notice much of a difference in the course at all. Much of the white course was water logged, making it difficult to navigate with a cart and plugging balls easily. Bunkers were mostly unplayable, being more like mud pits or ponds than sand traps. Since I was able to play on a deal rate, I was happy with my experience, but I would not want to pay full greens fees to play here until the quality of the course improves to the standard the other Jaworski courses hold.
Always Been Solid
A solid layout and always has been. White and Red are above average and the blue nine is average at best. Two par 5s on the blue and you can't hit driver off the tee unless you can carry it 295. Course conditions are very good and the greens are true. The new tavern is nice but the service this day was slow and inattentive. The lack of a good practice facility keeps this facility from being a 4.5. Play it you'll enjoy it...
Would play again
I got a good deal using golfnow, so it was worth it. The cart girl didn't really go around enough, so maybe she needs a better route, it is a huge 27 hole course, so it's understandable but maybe get 2 food carts out there. The greens were fairly slow, and it seemed like the rough and fairway were too different. The staff was nice, yet the etiquette policy is very easy going, I played in front of a group that was rushing us while wearing gym clothes so, id says if they want to appear more like a country club try to fix those things. But its a good course and a good golf course is always a good place to play.
Overpriced
The White and Red layouts are amateurish at best and not well maintained. Towards the end of our day, we played with a member who told us the Blue 9 is the place to be for some challenge. Not worth the money given the low amount of effort being put into this course.
Overall much improved!
Greens are much better! Pleasantly surprised. Probably need some rangers out there pushing pace of play however.
pleasantly surprised
I had played this course a few years ago and it wasnt well maintained and there was nobody monitoring pace of play. Yesterday was a pleasure, the course was in great shape especially for winter time. Nice fairways, tee boxes and very nice greens. I will recommend it to my friends and definitely play it again.
Nice track
Played as a threesome and got paired up with a single. Good pace of play, although the pair behind us hit into our group a few times. Not very nice. Lots of bunkers. Played the White and Blue nines. Will definitely return!
Nice Course
Played Red course with friend, and had a good time. Course in very good condition in comparison to many others. Friendly staff.
Always consistent
I've played Ramblewood close to 500 times since I first started playing. It has been the most consistently well conditioned course that I play several times per year. I play courses from the Poconos as far south as Delaware on a weekly basis and this place rates with the best of them. For this time of year the tee boxes were pretty good, fairways very good, sand not overly filled and greens smooth however,a bit on the slow side. The practice green was rather quick.
Nice well maintained course
Even though the weather has been hot and dry, the course is in pretty decent shape. Tee boxes kept up, and fairways neat and trim. Played the red and blue courses and found them pretty wide open and easy to play. Pro-shop staff and starter pretty friendly. Only complaint would be the bar stop after the 9th hole. Bar keep and wait staff make you wait, which slows all the golfers down! But the beverage cart (girl) was very good and managed to get around to us at least 3 times during the 18 holes.
solid course. always willing to play here.
course was a little backed up on a friday evening but players in front noticed and picked up the pace. tee boxes in good condition as always. fairways as well. rough not too high, easy to find ball. greens also in fair condition. played here a few times and always satisfied.
More possibilities
Awesome place with 3 nine holes courses to enjoy! The greens were fenomenal! The Blue course is the most challenging!
