Potter's Park Golf Course
About
The City of Hamilton offers two municipal courses, the championship Twin Run Golf Course and the regulation-length Potters Golf Course. They both provide some of the most affordable rounds in the area. Although Potters is the easier of the two courses, it's still a fun layout that has become a favorite with locals. It's ideal for beginners but also great for a quick round no matter what skill level. The back nine plays especially fast. The holes are mostly straightforward with a few strategically placed bunkers and subtle elevation changes to contend with. Potters Golf Course may not be the most challenging round you've ever played but the casual atmosphere and fun layout shouldn't be overlooked. It's also conveniently located less than an hour from both Cincinnati and Dayton.

Potters
Short course under new management. They seem to be doing their best to kee the course in decent shape. It will only get better.
Excellant course for all skill levels
The course was in great condition and was fun to play.
Pace of play slow for a short course
Too many par 3’s on back make pace of play impossible to get any rhythm going. The course being a city parts course has a ton of play and it shows, some greens are beginning to bake and they are lost can tell they water course as sprinkler system came on at 3pm on Sunday afternoon!
Shorter course but challenging
Challenging layout. Not very long but greens are difficult. Really fun course to play and a great value.
Great place for beginners
I took my Grandson out for his first round of golf. This was the perfect place, not crowded so I could take time to teach. Course has some neat history, and the layout is really pretty good. It has been really dry for the past 3 weeks, so outside of the tees, greens and fairways was pretty hard and dry. Keep it in the short grass and you are good.
Great starter course
If you are just starting or picking up golf then this is a pretty good course. Shorter course. Conditions was fast today as for not having any rain lately. Greens was in pretty good condition. Only thing that was a little confusing at first was the tee layouts. But we enjoyed our first time playing there and will be back.
DON’T COME IF THEY HAVE AN EVENT
I don’t Know how bad the course pace of play normally is but this was absolutely miserable. It took my 3 1/2 hours to play the front 9 when I was supposed to be playing 18. They lets the tourney guys drag their feet and do nothing about it but when you get told to play through the Marshall comes out and tells you “ you shouldn’t be playing through you play to fast and they shouldn’t have let you through”. Now I don’t know about everyone else but I don’t have 6-7 hours in a day to play golf.
First off that takes the fun out of the game if it plays to slow and no one can get in a rhythm
And secondly how dare they come yell at a single golfer for playing to fast for when the foursome from the tourney is dragging their feet... this place is stupid and I will never come back.. the good reviews about this place I think are bogus because all the other reviews that were bad about this place got it right on the head and the three reviews that were raving about it may be delusional.
Nice choice for a quick 18 holes
This is a great course. Wide fairways and fairly large greens. There are some challenging holes. I went after s few days of rain and the course drained well. There were spots of rough that retained water but the overall course remained in great condition. I'd highly recommend going to Potters Park.
Good shape!
Potters has done a 360 with the fairways this year. Everything in good shape. Greens were rolling fast! Played 18 holes in 2 hours.
First Time in a Long Time
Decided to give Potter's Park another try after several years absence. Fairways and greens were good. Rough was a little long. Had a single golfer in front of us that REALLY slowed play down a lot. Course is relatively short and tight with many adjacent fairways. GolfNow indicates they have a driving range, but they do not. Very disappointing.
Nice course!!!
This course was very forgiving off the tee!! Great for me )) good course layout and very good looking piece of property- I ended up the day with a 79 on the par of 69))
