Potter's Park Golf Course

About
The City of Hamilton offers two municipal courses, the championship Twin Run Golf Course and the regulation-length Potters Golf Course. They both provide some of the most affordable rounds in the area. Although Potters is the easier of the two courses, it's still a fun layout that has become a favorite with locals. It's ideal for beginners but also great for a quick round no matter what skill level. The back nine plays especially fast. The holes are mostly straightforward with a few strategically placed bunkers and subtle elevation changes to contend with. Potters Golf Course may not be the most challenging round you've ever played but the casual atmosphere and fun layout shouldn't be overlooked. It's also conveniently located less than an hour from both Cincinnati and Dayton.

Nice course with some challenges on off-target shots.
Nice course in really good shape. Can be a challenging course if you're not hitting well, even from the white tees. Greens can be quick on downhill/sidehill putts. Cart path is really nice. Club house has a good selection with very reasonable prices. Will definitely play again. Got a great deal on GolfNow.
Good day, a little slow
We had a very good time, the only small problem was the pace of play.
Nice Easy Course but Disconnected from Golf Pass
The course is fine for the price and is quite easy for high and mid handicappers. The only problem I had is that I booked this course as a hot deal and used my credit to get a great price on the green fee but when I showed up, the golf course was adamant that I had not prepaid my green fee through the application was told that I would have to pay to play. Even when I showed them my emailed green fee receipt from Golf Pass, they claimed that those were not for the green fee - even though it was labeled as a green fee prepaid. Somehow, this course cannot connect with Golf Pass and resolve prepaid green fees on hot deals even after a mobile check in. This was a 30 minute problem to which the manager just relented and let me play "for free" in his words even though their kiosk did not show that I had prepaid. This makes me question if Golf Pass is even worth the grief of showing up to course on a deal. End users of this application often get a lot of shade from the golf course when you execute on a hot deal. Makes me want to opt out next year.
Current Rate
The current rate that is advertised on Golfnow is not worth it. The price was $21 but is now $29
New upgrades
Recently placed this course to find nice new cart paths ! Also grounds crews working on improvements for drainage in low lying areas. This is a nice local course and glad to see the upgrades making outings for the long range future even better.
Go to local course
Play here often and find the course in good shape considering this is August and lots of play over spring and summer. I like the wide fairways and general open areas even if you hit an errant shot to another fairway. Fees are modest and course has several elevations to keep it interesting.
Grumpy
Course was in good shape. Friendly Marshall’s. Guy in pro shop was a big jerk
Chris
Nice course for beginners or practice. It is not a long course.
Short course, but worth it
I really enjoyed my first round here. Drive past it every day. I'll be back to play it again. Course is shorter than most, but has some challenging holes. Great value for the cost. Fairways and greens were all in very good condition. Greens have some challenging slopes.
Nice track
Course was in great shape from tee to green and played well. It was a busy Saturday and my only complaint was there was no ranger to monitor the pace of play as there was a group of 6 playing ahead of us and that shouldn’t be allowed
