Potter's Park Golf Course
About
The City of Hamilton offers two municipal courses, the championship Twin Run Golf Course and the regulation-length Potters Golf Course. They both provide some of the most affordable rounds in the area. Although Potters is the easier of the two courses, it's still a fun layout that has become a favorite with locals. It's ideal for beginners but also great for a quick round no matter what skill level. The back nine plays especially fast. The holes are mostly straightforward with a few strategically placed bunkers and subtle elevation changes to contend with. Potters Golf Course may not be the most challenging round you've ever played but the casual atmosphere and fun layout shouldn't be overlooked. It's also conveniently located less than an hour from both Cincinnati and Dayton.

Great Day for Golf!
Love this course. Long front nine, short back nine helps my play. Makes me want to come back! LOL!
Nice course, solid value
Course was in very nice shape considering the time of the year and the overall weather this Summer. Tee boxes were a little rough, fairways were still pretty nice and greens rolled well. Pace of play was excellant as we finished in 3 hours 45 minutes after a 10:40 tee time. Thanks to Golf Now, an excellant value. Will definitely be back again.
Great course horrible management
The course was well maintained and had a nice layout. The pace of play was terrible it took 2 hours to get through 6 holes and there was no warden to tell people to speed it up. There was also only one person in the clubhouse for checking in and serving food/drinks it took 20 minutes just to get some drinks at the turn and they weren’t cooking any food
Slow.
Slow, brutal slow. Waiting on tee boxes for 20+ minutes. Groups playing in 6 somes probably didn’t help. Okay conditions, tee boxes were goat track like, greens pretty solid. Walked off after almost 3 hour front 9.
What a perfect golf day.
Temperature was upper 70's (in August!) and my playing partner and I hit the rare jackpot of no one in front of us for the entire day. Course was in great shape despite a hot summer.
Had to play front twice! Ridiculous
Paid for a full 18 on golf now. Went to make the turn and was told I’d have to play the front again, as there was a league playing the back. I was never made aware of this when booking the tee time or checking in. Very frustrating and disappointing experience.
Potters always delivers!!
No matter rain or shine this course never lets down. Me and a few of my coworkers have played here every other Tuesday for months and it never disappoints. It’s a fairly simple and easy layout. Some holes ask for a little more accuracy but there are multiple par 4s you can drive the green with a little power. Putting can be easy or hard depending on the hole. My favorite hole has to be the downhill 18th. This is a drivable green with a long straight drive. Only eagle I’ve ever made! Come out and see them, the staff is awesome and always friendly. Only downside to this course is there is no driving range. Other then that your gonna love it!!!
Course
Overall course was in great shape, enjoyed playing 18 holes.
Best Front 9 scoreI Ever Played
I had a great day playing golf at Potter’s. The course is in great shape.
The front nine I shot a 40 which was my best every,
Great value, nice condition, determined pace
What a great day !! Although we are all average golfers, we played from the black tees to add a little challenge to the course. Even from the tips, it was a very manageable length. Course was in as nice as shape as any of the public courses that we play on the western side of Cincinnati, the Hamilton area and SE Indiana. Pace of play was well under 4 hours as things moved along nicely. Staff was very friendly and engaging. With the help of Golf Now, it was also a great value.
Great course to work on irons or your short game
The course is not very long, but it’s a great course to work on your irons or short game. The front nine doesn’t have a hole that’s much over 160 yards, so the biggest club I brought out of the bag was a seven iron. Most of the time, I use my wedge or low iron into the greens from the tee box.
