The Fairways at Twin Lakes

Great clubhouse, one of the nicest around and the staff was very accommodating. Would like to try again when the weather improves. But considering the weather we've had, the course was in very good shape.

I was very disappointed in the condition of the course, considering this was recently a private club and had been featured on a local golf show that travels to Ohio area courses that are supposed to be of a higher quality than most. You can tell that they are trying to make improvements, as there is a large area near the first tee that stretches to the third fairway that has been regraded, but has not grown in too well yet. Also due to this, there were no front tee markers on the first hole. Cart paths are only near tees and greens, and are in serious need of work, they are narrow, full of potholes and really are best avoided. The greens had been aerified and grown back in very well but were still quite bumpy. The course has a large concentration of crabgrass, which is quite noticeable, by the large brown spots where the frost has killed back this annual grass. I will say that the bunkers were the best that I have seen this year. They were very consistent and filled with a very high grade of bunker sand. Overall the layout is very nice. There are some really beautiful looking, as well as well designed holes. There are some spots on the course where I could see bottlenecks occurring, which could lead to a longer round than I experienced. If you can score a GolfNow hot deal, give Twin Lakes a shot, otherwise I would wait until more improvements are made.

Very nice and maintained for money. The proshop provided the course introduction and it was very helpful.

This course has so much potential. It is beautiful, well maintained, and a solid value; however, the pace of play was unbelievably slow.

We paid for 9 holes, and played 5 of them. It took over 2 hours to play 5 holes!

This has to be due to overbooking tee times.

I hate to give a bad review, because the staff was great, but over 2 hours for 5 holes! Madness!

Challenging layout nice speed on the putting greens.

Great course with a great future. Brand new club house yet to be opened. Cart path needs more directional signs and starting boxes need hole layout instead of referring to scorecard.

Will play every chance I get, Wednesdays work we'll with my schedule and it's close to home.

I was hesitant to book a round here as 9 hole courses usually lack character and aren't well maintained. While there are some rough spots around the edges of the rough or just off the tee boxes, the fairways are well kept and the greens roll well. There are some nice holes requiring thought from the tee versus grip and rip which I like. Stop for a beer post round in the clubhouse with a patio overlooking the lake.

We enjoyed playing 9 holes on this course. The view from the deck afterwards was awesome also. Definitely recommend trying this.

Was pleasantly surprised at the playability and shotmaking challenges of this 9 hole course. Played on a overcast day with moisture and little roll, but the fairways and the greens played true and fast. Great little tune-up course for the money. Enjoyed, Will play it again.

It's only a 9 hole course but it's tough! With winding fairways and well guarded greens, you'll find yourself a few bogeys. It is very well maintained and has some of the fastest greens I've played on a public course in the Akron/canton/stow area. And it's only $10 with a cart if you book a tee time through Golfnow! I'll be back!

My only criticism of The Fairways at Twin Lakes is the lack of a back nine! What a great course... tough but fair test of skill, with lightning-fast greens. Possibly the fastest greens in the area, at least as far as public courses go. If you enjoy hills like I do, try this place out.

I don't play nine hole courses but I certainly recommend playing this one! Crazy fast sloping greens, you have to keep it below the hole. Tough long par fours; 400+ long, and the ones under 400 yards you need to hit your tee shots straight to even have a shot to the greens. Great value too, $13 for 9 holes + cart on Memorial Day. Looking forward to go back and play again.

Nice little course - 9 holes. Very good value. Variety of holes. Not too challenging. Enjoyed playing.

Nice course layout for theland availalbe and very challenging greens specially when pin is located on the back teir.

Great bunkers and design, very challenging! Long hiters will keep their drivers in the bag on all but 2 holes. A premium is placed on the short game.

Overall, a good course for a nice price and friendly staff.
