About
Carved from acres of rolling countryside, The View Golf Club (formerly known as Valley View Golf Club) blends seamlessly into its surroundings. The scenic setting has led to the club being known simply as "The View" amongst locals. It has been a standby for the area's golfers for more than 55 years. The hilly terrain provides some interesting slopes throughout the golf course. The watered, fairways are generously sized, but they are lined with mature trees so they still demand a fair amount of accuracy. The medium-sized greens are undulating and vary in speed from medium to fast. The golf course has an ideal combination of challenges balanced with more forgiving features that appeals to a variety of different skill levels. Both beginners and more experienced players looking for a casual round will enjoy The View Golf Club.

Hidden Gem
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. My son plays for Fairfield Christian Academy and this is their home course. I really like the new owners who are working hard. Needs some work on the fairways, but they are in progress. The layout is so beautiful looking out from the putting greens and clubhouse. They really appreciate youth golf and making a new layout. It’s a great place to play.
Good one-off
Valley View has excellent greens with uniform speed and several excellent views of the surrounding countryside. I would play it again, but a well needed course redo is already underway and my thoughts it does not measure up to a daily desire to play were perhaps premature.
The plans for the redesign and building of a winery are impressive. Worth another crack at it.

Not worth the price
Over priced for course conditions. Fairways we’re tall, some greens need major work (dead and patchy)

It’s a challenge
Good course with (my opinion) too many blind shots. The greens are very firm. But a fun course.

Course always challenging to play. Fairways were had some spots that were brown due to dryness. Greens were great. Fun to play.

Great local course for all handicaps!!
This is a great course for anyone who loves to golf. The layout is moderate with some challenges. The staff is always friendly and the course is always in great shape. I will always come back to play here!

Hardest Greens in Central Ohio
Don't expect bent grass fairways, but Valley View is a picturesque course and, in general, the course was in pretty decent shape. However, the greens must be called out as being the most cement-like I may have ever played on. I didn't leave a single ball mark in a green all day. Lofty wedge shots would bounce 6 feet off the green into the air then roll 30 feet off the back. This made them almost unplayable... at least very unpleasant to accommodate.

First time there, drove over from Columbus and it was well worth it! Beautiful landscape, unique layout , and multi-tiered greens make even a few relatively short holes very challenging! The staff was welcoming and friendly. The new owner even introduced himself and shook our hands and you could tell his excitement to upgrade the course and the amenities. Sloppy joe on the turn was a delight! I chalked the slow play (5+ hr round) to the Holiday so can’t hold that over any course. We will make the drive again. Kudos to a job well done!

Amazing hospitality
The people in the clubhouse are the nicest people I have found in any golf course in central Ohio. Don’t know what it was, but just really nice hospitality from everyone and it’ll be the reason I come back. You can tell they are slowly trying to improve the course and make updates, the course needs some slight love, but with the attention they are giving it, this place will be a gem in sometime! Great spot, will be back!!! Back 9 is amazing!!!!!

Very nice course
Course was in pretty good shape despite all the rain lately. Pace of play was real good, only a few hold ups on the last 3 hole’s. Starter on back nine was very helpful.
