About
Carved from acres of rolling countryside, The View Golf Club (formerly known as Valley View Golf Club) blends seamlessly into its surroundings. The scenic setting has led to the club being known simply as "The View" amongst locals. It has been a standby for the area's golfers for more than 55 years. The hilly terrain provides some interesting slopes throughout the golf course. The watered, fairways are generously sized, but they are lined with mature trees so they still demand a fair amount of accuracy. The medium-sized greens are undulating and vary in speed from medium to fast. The golf course has an ideal combination of challenges balanced with more forgiving features that appeals to a variety of different skill levels. Both beginners and more experienced players looking for a casual round will enjoy The View Golf Club.

Devil In The Details
I realize there may be some construction on the course but some directional signs would be AWESOME! Got way lost getting to several holes.
Fairways and first cuts are nice, greens are pretty good. Tee boxes are in poor shape.

People!
Great people make this place what it is. The views are great and the course is good but when you are surrounded by good people good things happen. They always greet you with a smile and are willing to help you anyway they can. I have and will always consider Valley View my home course. Hope to see you soon.
Nice course
The staff at Valley View are great. The are friendly and helpful they always have a smile on their faces. Course is nice with a bunch of improvements in the works. I play there on avg. 2 to 3 times a week. Hope to see you there.

Too many people, did not remove tee times from golf now
I traveled to this course from out of town. I looked on golfnow, and they had a ton of tee times available (almost none of them were booked from 2pm to 6pm).
I arrived to the course to find a junior high school tournament going off on the front 9, and a seniors league teeing off on the back.
I was instructed to go to the back 9, where I came up on 2 groups from the senior league, and a third group of players not associated to the league (which I ended up joining).
It took (no exaggeration) 50 minutes to complete 2 holes, and I waited (again no exaggeration) another 10 minutes to tee off on hole 3 before deciding to pack it up and go back to the hotel (I had paid for 18 holes, and it was apparent that I wasn’t going to be able to finish even 9 holes.
Luckily the person running the pro shop saw me come back in and gave me a rain check coupon (hence the 4 stars for staff friendliness), but I don’t want to risk going back to the course again and only play a couple holes.
In addition, they are doing major renovations to the property, and there are dirt piles and construction equipment all over the course.
All in all, I would maybe wait a while to come to this course for the renovations to be complete unless you live very close in the area. Also don’t trust their golfnow tee times as they don’t reflect the reality of who is on the course (they don’t update their tee times).
Wouldn’t recommend to a friend.
Not bad value
It’s a decent course with some angulations in the layout which I like. It’s out in the sticks and an old school course but great value for the money. Outdated carts but they do great with what they have. Making renovations to the finishing hole(s). Looking forward to that next year
Good course to play!!
This is a nice course to play. Staff is super friendly. The course is undergoing construction creating a new course layout with tons of new amenities and events. What is amazing is the construction causes no issues for play at all, I can't wait until everything is finshed. This course is already wonderful, can't wait. I seriously encourage golfers of all levels to play this course!
