Wedgwood Country Club
About
Wedgewood Country Club in Turnersville is one of the most popular public golf courses in the Tri-State area. It offers an upscale atmosphere with a traditional layout that pays homage to Philadelphia's most prestigious and renowned private courses. The course is like playing two in one with a front nine that is spacious and open while the back nine is much tighter and more heavily tree lined. The entire Wedgewood layout sprawls across gentle undulating terrain, providing subtle breaks throughout that will test your skills. There are two holes that are particularly memorable, the 13th, one of the toughest par 4s in the area, and the 17th, a tough par 5. The 13th is a lengthy par 4 that requires a second shot over water with a long club to a difficult target. Wedgewood Country Club's penultimate hole demands accuracy with an uphill drive through a chute.

not great condition, including the trash can Photo submitted by Michael8613535 on 10/09/2013
Better than last year but,…..
Still a shame, for such a great layout, they just milk it. Never going to be great as it should be until owner invests.
Could be great
Course has an outstanding layout. The greens were a 5 out of 5. The rest of the course needs some real TLC. Traps were awful. Fairways a 3 out of 5. It looks like they are working hard on the course, but there is a lot to do.
Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the $97 Price Tag
I recently played a round at this course and was extremely disappointed with the overall condition and value. For a steep rate of $97 per person, I expected a well-maintained course and a smooth experience. Unfortunately, that was far from the case.
The fairways were in poor condition, with numerous bare patches and inconsistent grass coverage. It felt like maintenance had been neglected for weeks. To make matters worse, half the holes were cart path only, yet the cart paths themselves were broken and uneven, making it frustrating to navigate and adding unnecessary walking.
For this price, there are many other courses in the area that offer far better playing conditions and a more enjoyable round. Sadly, this course didn’t come close to delivering on expectations. I won’t be returning anytime soon and wouldn't recommend it unless major improvements are made.
Way overpriced, this course is a dump. Other courses in the area cheaper in much better condition. Never going back.
Wedgewood
Played Wedgewood on a Hot deal for 70. I could not imagine paying full price. Course was in ok shape and the carts are in serious need of repair and replacement. Not worth the money. Staff was very nice.
Try Putting Sand in the Sand Traps
The sand traps have very little if any sand. There are far too many areas on the course that are no longer mowed so plan to lose more balls than normal.
Not to bad
Everything was fine for the most part the bunkers are horrible though massive rocks in there you can’t even hit out of them if you want to leave with the same club. Greens were great though.
Old gas powered carts with “fancy” gps
Old gas carts from the 90’s with a gps and geofence system are a perfect summation of this course. It’s a fun layout, conditions could be better. Greens were fast as lighting.
Stay away
The course management and employees only care about there members, was getting harassed the whole time from members behind me because it was busy and nowhere to go . They expect you to get out of there way , I was always ready to hit when group ahead of me was clear , btw the round only took 4 hrs but apparently that was too long for members. I would never go back and wiould never recommend going there even if it was a free round , like I said the employees only care about there members and could care less about anyone else
Rough Day in the Rough
Sorry, but this course was definitely not worth the $80+. The rough was in extremely horrible conditions, they looked like they have not been tended to in weeks, most of the sand traps were just dirt and or mud, I know we had severe weather the day before, but no excuse for not having sand in them. The greens were in nice conditions but played extremely fast, considering that we had over 3” of rain in the last few days. The 19th (Divots) only had hotdogs and sausage with a few snacks. Bar tender said new restaurant (Scarpinato’s) was coming next month. This course needs new ownership who dump several dollars into it, so it can get back to where it was in the 80’s & 90’s.
