Green Crest Golf Club is a player-friendly course located in Middletown. The course was designed in 1972, offering a traditional layout with wide, forgiving fairways and short roughs. GOOD COURSE CONDITION FOR JANUARY AFTER RAINY DAYS
Day started a bit cool, but in the PM sun came out and temperature was perfect. Course was wet (Car Path only for carts), but very playable and very few water spots. No wait, only a group of 2 and me, and they let me play through,

Challenging but not Discouraging
Green Crest provides the wide open fairway to the precision placement from the tee. The greens roll and hold true, but they are smaller then some which provides a little challenge. iIt has just enough water and sand to keep it interesting but not intimidating. The course is fun and Tom at the Pro Shop keeps it running smooth!

It's rough in many fairways
Play elsewhere until grass fills in on many fairways.
Late season play
For the weather we have had in S/W Ohio, the cource is in excellent condition for this late in the year. Staff is as always great friendly. Thank you for a good day on the links.

Good for all levels
The course is a gem within the area. With many courses struggling to remain private, or even keep their doors open, it's good to have a thread of goodness. I find the course easy on some days, while other days I can't seem to avoid the fairway defining trees. If your hitting the ball reasonably straight in the range of 225, you will do well. If your tee shot advances beyond 250 yards, you will swear that the humps around the fairway edges are designed to punish you for the slightest hook or slice. You will certainly master the low branch defying shot when attempting to over power the modest course length. The greens are pretty good, which is the way I usually define the conditions of a course. Enjoy the demand for a crafty short game at greencrest.

Very disappointed
Green Crest promotes overbooking and the ranger could care less about speed of play. I will never play this course again. Such a shame .It is really a good course layout. I have played and enjoyed golf for over 55 years Worst experience I have ever had.

Greens are in great shape. Shoot for the pin, the greens are holding the ball great. Course is in really good condition.

Overpriced
Course was way overpriced for the conditions and layout. Very tight small course but the fairways were like a goat pasture. I wouldn't pay 40 bucks to play here

Fairways & Tees need TLC
Layout is fun and at times narrow. Fairways very disappointing - many bare spots and plenty of weeds everywhere. Tees had a lot of weeds. Greens and green areas in good shape.

Tougher than it looks
Enjoyed playing this course. We played from the blue tees and this adds quite a bit of yardage to your tee shots. It’s not a place for wayward drives
Next time I play this course I will leave my driver at home and probably play the white tees (there green tees here) almost all the fairways are tight
With parallel fairways for most of the holes with dense trees in between. The greens are very busy
With most of them sloped from center out and several undulating breaks. If you don’t bring your putting A Game, plan on 2-3 putting every hole unless you stick it close. It’s a challenging course
But a fun one. Will definitely play again.
It has been dry and the fairways were in rough shape. But tee boxes and greens were good.
Play this course smart and you should be able to come home with a good score.
