Golf with the guys
This was my first time at Green Crest and I really liked it. All the water on many of the holes one through nine was challenging, but the weather was beautiful and I would definitely come back again.

Hard Course With Fast Play
It was a fun time, it was pretty packed though. My friends and I are intermediate at best, and the course layout was difficult, and they stacked tee times very closely together. With the 4 of us we took a little under 2.5 hours for 9, but staff kept hovering us and pressuring us to pick it up. Wouldn’t recommend for beginners/casual golfers

Pace of Play/Groupings Need Serious Work from Mgmt
Had a 6:20 tee time, was informed it was busy due to HS girls golf; no big deal. However, was not informed there was a literal 4 group wait on each tee box because of this. Especially when there are walkers mixed with riders, the course should have mediated this. My group was ready to go at 6:20, teed off at 6:20, but was forced to wait for the other two for ten minutes to get there, just let us go? However, the back nine was wide open, so why not let leagues/public go off one side and HS off the other? Left after 2 holes.

Very nice ‘local’ course.
I booked late the night before because it was closest to me with an available time. Pleasantly surprised by how nice the course was. Many interesting holes, fairways & greens in very nice condition and the sand traps were immaculately raked with nice soft sand…maybe the nicest condition I’ve seen anywhere. Paired up with nice people too.
Pace of play was typical- little over 4 hrs.
Don’t bother with the higher priced ‘big name’ courses unless you have area really good game…play here, you won’t be disappointed.

Great Vlue
Because this course is a great value, it gets crowded which is the reason for slow play. There are some real challenging holes if playing from the back tees. Course is in great shape.
