Green Crest Golf Club

The course is fine, even with the oddly warm off season, the course was kept in good condition. 6 beers is almost the price of 9 holes which seems kinda steep but it’s whatever.

The other golfers were pretty rude to be honest, I was in a group of 3 and while we know we are a little slower (we are newer to golf) most people are considerate since we aren’t terribly slow, and if we feel like we are being too slow, we just let them pass to return the consideration.

Golfers here were FAST, we had never been rushed this much in all of the courses we had been too, and when we let people go ahead of us they had an attitude and didn’t thank us except for one group of teenagers. So take that as you will, it might not be a big deal for you and your group, but if you’re looking for a cheaper course to practice and learn to golf, I’d avoid this one for now unless you’re willing to take the risk.

I WOULD come back here, but maybe once my group gets a bit better.

Way too over booked teed off at 12 and didn’t get to finish and they let groups of 6 people walk in front of us tee times were 3 minutes apart

Upon arriving for my tee time I was greeted by one if the rudest people Ive ever met, let alone at a golf club. The gentleman at the desk laughed in my face and told me to look outside, I wasnt going to be golfing for at least an hour or longer. When I asked why they wouldnt call me to let me know they were on a frost delay (dew not frost btw) I was told that wasnt his problem and he did not care. Refused to help with a refund and told me I was not going to get one. Told me I could wait in the parking lot for 2 hours or lose my money. I have been here before and can tell you the golf for the money is not worth it unless you get a hot deal. Fairways are basically roughs and the nicest part about the course is their practice green and sand traps. The mowing staff will run over your balls without concern as well. I doubt I will ever return to this course after my experience. Golf Now took care of me ans got my refund but whatever you do avoid this place unless you want to be treated like trash.

Green Crest Golf Course is like a slice of paradise. It is a Hidden Gem in a rough. Doug and his staff are so friendly and pleasant. The restaurant staff is also extremely nice. Anthony C.

Greencrest Golf Course is a slice of paradise in heaven.. I always love playing around the golf there. It keeps me in touch with nature and all the beauty.

ground was hard and what grass there was, was drought stricken. greens were extremely fast due to hardness and likely lack of water. we were stuck behind an outing (scramble) and the 1st 9 holes we spent waiting 3 foursomes deep on each tee box, no ranger. things slightly improved during the back 9 but still waiting behind one other group every hole. we had some space between us and the group ahead of us on the14th or 15th hole and a ranger finally comes around to tell US to pick up play. I wonder where he had been all day. took us almost 5 hours because of slow play ahead of us. Won't be back.. not worth the money

This was my first time at Green Crest and I really liked it. All the water on many of the holes one through nine was challenging, but the weather was beautiful and I would definitely come back again.
