Arrowhead Golf Club
About
Arrowhead Golf Club is an 18-hole public course in North Canton. The course is player friendly enough for all skill levels. It's not the most formidable test in the area but it's great for a quick and casual round. It's also an ideal layout for beginners who are just starting out since it provides a few challenges while not being overly punishing. The holes are mostly straightforward with a few strategically placed bunkers bordering the greens. You won't find very much water throughout the golf course but it does come into play occasionally. One of the most memorable holes is a water hole. The green on the par-4 second hole is nearly an island green with a lake that borders it on three sides. Water also comes into play on the final hole.

Nice layout, but needs some weed killer
I first played Arrowhead last year. I really like the course layout and also prefer the white tees around the 6000 yd range which is a perfect length for me. They hit the nail on the head here right around 6000-6100 yds with a couple short par 4's (300) and a couple around 400. The Par 3's are challenging (a few were 165-200 yd range from the whites). Course has some decent elevation changes.
The staff was friendly and the course was not busy at all so as a single player this is appealing as I was finished with 18 in around 2.5 hours early on Monday morning. Two major let downs though. The cart paths and weeds. The cart path was bad especially leaving hole #1 it was nearly undriveable. Once the paving started it improved. Also the weeds were pretty bad. It was dandelion city out there.
I never saw this place when it was a country club, but it probably looked spectacular.
Greens and pin placement were a fun challenge
As I read on here before tee boxes were beat up. A couple of areas were like swamp land even thou it has been a few days since the last rain fall but nothing to worry about. Very fun and a nice change of pace from your normal open flat golf courses as the slopes on certain hole leave u with different lies from time to time. My new favorite course when I want to challenge myself
Disappointment
Ya know for what we paid , we got a good deal but at times we should have been wearing a hard hat. Why would you put the tee box next to the driving range? Since you cannot see , group behind us hit into us 3 times. Wear your rain gear ! They put the sprinklers on at 2:30 in the afternoon. Probably gonna play elsewhere next time.
Never going back.
Staff was beyond unfriendly. Course was not in very good condition.
Fun place to play
Some of the friendliest people I've met. The course was in relatively good shape. The only real negative was the twosome in front of us that played multiple balls and held up play. They could use a marshall.
Good Course
I have played here in the past and always enjoy the round. The course is in good shape this year overall. The greens are in excellent condition. The rough was cut down and not particularly punitive. I shot my low round of the year
not bad
Tees need help! Fairways rough and greens are pretty good. Good location. Get a greatly reduced price and you will likely be happy.
Swamp lands
Was my first time to play at this course and very upsetting cause the course was a total swamp land after it gets rain.
Nice course in the middle of a nice neighborhood
First 7 holes play tight. Feel as you are kind of playing on top of the other groups. Was a bit noisy for early in the morning. Once you get to 8th hole though it opens up and becomes a very nice course.
excellent greens
Greens are well maintained. Course is in very nice shape. It presents challenges to all levels of players
Stay in the fairway
The greens and fairways are in great shape. The fairways are extremely narrow-- the rough is high and will cause a long day if visited frequently.
Just an all around great golf course.
Just an all around great golf course. For all types of players.
Great place to play!
Only paid $13 for 18 holes but would pay double that! Great course and staff was super friendly.
Very enjoyable round
First time using Golfnow. Process worked perfectly. Course was not busy for a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Starter let us go off early and we finished in very good time.
Tees need mowed and a little work
Overall the course was in decent shape, but the tee boxes need mowed and a little attention
Fun setup and small fast greens
I played very early and it was not even 50 degrees yet - played very fast and had fun. Course was tight at times, and had very small and fast greens.
Staff and course need a change of attention
After standing at the counter for five minutes before anyone acknowledged me, the gentlemen proceeded to tell me I didn't have a reservation in a quite rude manner. I provided my golfnow print out and he still was quite rude, and then finally acknowledged that miraculously my reservation just popped up on his screen a full two hours after I made it online. Every staff memeber I encountered was very rude except for one gentlemen that described the hole paths which actually were quite confusing due to the odd course layout. The course itself could have used a little better care, but overall it wasn't too bad for the time of year. The sand traps were completely filled with water and if you landed in one you had to spend a few minutes trying to fish your ball out of the mini pond they had became. Additionally, the course was quite hilly and of course our cart died at the very furthest hole away from the clubhouse. Luckily our phones were able to get enough reception to call back to the clubhouse where they eventually delivered a new one some twenty minutes later. Overall, I would definitely not recommend this course to anyone as there are plenty of other better courses with friendlier staff out there. The whole operation was quite poorly run.
ok
greens were sandy and just aerated...tee box awful shape they in level lines and in kept..
save your money.....trust me
course in awful condition. pace of play horrendous. people just cutting in front of us on some holes. no supervision any where kind of like a prison riot. very disappointing and still trying to figure out how this course got any of the positive reviews it got??? it was that bad.
very nice course and nice condition. somewhat difficult but fair.
Course well maintained and very good condition. I would recommend this course.
