Hidden Gem...
My friend and I, had looked for a new place to play. We found this course near by to Stark county. The course is very well kept and greens were nice. One lack were signs for next holes without using the scorecard map. Only little knock, but other than that, friendly staff to strangers and good value for the money.
It's OK
The course itself is kept in decent shape. However, the cart paths, tee boxes and traps are unattended to. The traps were small bonds with no sand at all. There are no yardage markers or even tee box markers. With a little love, this could be a nice course again.

Put in yardage markers
Greens were rock hard and there were no yardage makers throughout the course. Holes weren’t labeled either which made it confusing as to where to go next.

Hit it right down the fairway or it's gone. Not what it was and not worth the money
Extremely disappointed. I used to golf this course quite frequently 5-10 years ago. I heard that since it changed owners, it went down hill but when paying $50 for a round, I didn't expect the wheels to have fallen off like that. The fairway is like the first cut on most courses (which I don't mind). Then you're immediately in 4-5 inches of rough. I lost 8+ balls on tee shots that were just to the left or right of the fairway. The grass was SOO long, it was awful. I had an early Sunday morning tee time, and oddly I only saw 2 other groups on the course. I also did not see anybody mowing like you'd normally see before 8 AM, but you could tell they don't do that. I wouldn't even pay $10 for this course. I legitimately thought they owed me a refund for how big of a ripoff $50 was. Play any other course but this one. I will never be back.
Back from the brink
A great course that was destined to close, now will stay open a little longer due to the effects of Covid on the local economy. In spite of some adversity, the greens and fairways are excellent. The rough is too long, and balls are difficult to find, but the course is fun to play.

Always a pleasure playing here; rough was tougher than usual but still quite fair.
Slow but OK.
Considering the type of weather NE Ohio has gotten this year, course was in good shape. Rough EXTREMELY tall and penalizing. The only complaint I have is too many five-somes. This course is not alone with this issue. I don't blame them for trying to recoup some of their money with the cart situations. My only suggestion would be if you let 5-somes out, at least range so they let faster groups play through.
BBC
While the Greens and Fairways were in decent shape the second cut was way too long. This impacted pace of play across the board. Golfers searched for balls high and low before moving on. Suggesting to cut the roughs or first cut from the fairways to increase a faster pace of play.

Not what it use to be but still a nice course. Has some difficult holes that can give you a real challenge.

Carts
This place has no carts. I didn’t see that before booking. Because of that people in our group didn’t show up and I lost money because of paying online.

Overall good!
The course sold off its carts, so if you don't mind walking it's an overall nice course to play. 3 par 5's on the front. No holes are overall challenging but you can find trouble on mis-hits. The greens rolled nice and true with a decent pace.
Great place to play golf!
I was so happy to see the course open! The greens are great and the course was very playable even after two days of heavy rain. I heard that the course may be closing, I hope it remains open, I know there is great ownership here so please come enjoy this great track. Great chicken houses in the area too!
