Willow Run Golf Course
About
Willow Run Golf Course was designed by a ubiquitous name in central Ohio, Jack Kidwell. The local designer played a role in creating many of the state's courses but he infused a different character into each. Willow Run has an interesting layout that will test your shot making skills as well as your course management capabilities. The greens are bentgrass and the fairways are accented with Ohio bluegrass. Correct placement off the tees is the key to doing well, especially on the front nine. Plenty of water comes into play throughout the golf course as well as several strategically placed bunkers. Willow Run's back nine boasts one of the most challenging par 4s in Ohio, the 13th. The green on this tricky hole is fronted by a meandering creek.

Surprised me
This course surprised me and I’m not really sure why I was expecting something less than what I got. This course was well-maintained;; the fairways, the tee boxes and the greens were in excellent condition in November. The course is long you better bring your boom stick on the back nine because it’s a beast. Had a great time here. Definitely coming back.
Flooded. Terrible shape
Have played willow run many time. This was by far the worst I’ve ever seen it. Hope they aren’t giving up. Atrocious is the only word I can use for the fairways, rough and cart paths.
Good course
Enjoyed the round with a friend. Course was in decent condition.
rainy day
First time I played golf going from tree to tree for shelter from the rain. Once it cleared, the course was very soggy. Surprise, surprise!
Otherwise, I liked it - not crowded, greens in good shape. However, fairways partly under repair, cart path a mess, tee markers a bit confusing, and no distance-to-hole or distance-to-hazard markers.
but NOT crowded and fairways not lined with houses.
generally a very nice experience.
Nice greens
The course was in good shape and the free s were better than expected
Solid course for the price
I find this course to be a great value. While not the prettiest of fairways and teeboxes the greens and bunkers are done well. The course is solid and a challenge at times. Overall fun to play
Blind tee shot... hazards, beware
Greens were in great shape t-boxes were in great shape fairways need some work but watch out for the creeks that run across the fairways.
Great course for the money
Best condition I've ever seen the course in, just a bit of crab grass here and there. Pace of play was great, got 18 in in under 4 hours on a Sunday.....almost unheard of anymore, too many white belts playing the tips and thinking they are on tour usually! Practice putting green is in an odd area between holes 10 and 12 and is not really an easily accessible area. You have to walk in front of 10's tee box then watch your back because of white belts playing the tips and straight shanking tee shots 50 yards right at you!!....or I would rank it even a higher rating.
Great for the money
Greens were pretty good. Fairways were very good. I like this course and I play it a lot. I don’t golf fast but geez are there some slow players out there. Not the course’s fault so I can’t criticize that. Great value for the money.
Bad shap
Played willow run many times. Have never seen it in worse shape. Hope they can turn it around
Fun round
Pace was slow but it was 8:00 Sunday morning. Greens were in great condition.
