Hidden gem
This was a last minute tee time so I was a little worried. Turns out I had nothing to worry about. Course was in great condition, layout was really fun, and the whole round was beautiful. Back 9 was challenging, and the greens were a bit fast, but overall I really enjoyed it. Will be going into the rotation for sure. Highly recommend.
Beautiful Course
Loved the course and the layout. Definitely touch greens but it was beautiful
Great conditioned course, not so great pace of play
CT is a really well conditioned golf course with a terrific clubhouse setting . The only drawback was a 5 hr plus round of golf, terrible pace of play.
Unfriendly place 1 Star
Inside staff looks angry. Starter was rude. Maintenance people didn’t give a crap while we were playing. Course was fine, but the pin placements were awful and on slopes all day. My 3 golfing guests were completely turned off by the place and the unfriendly / rude staff. Terrible customer experience!
Let’s expand on this: Inside person told my guests “they should be good players or they have no business playing here.” ??? Cocky as ever.
Starter: told my group “they should of had their receipts out ready for him.and the cart rules are right there on the sign.” A complete A hole
Maintenance people: doing the bunkers and placing sand in there as were playing the holes. Never once thought to stop while we were hitting .Very disrespectful:
Pin placements: on hills and side hills making the greens so difficult that groups were playing so slow it was a 6hour round.
I don’t usually write this much, but this place seeks to think they are so grey or something when it’s not even a great course or in great condition. I won’t come back and I’ll happily spend my money elsewhere where people are taught manners and customer service.
Excellent course
If the fairway traps were good would be as nice as any Country Club I've played
Brutal pace of play
Fun layout, but an almost 6 hr round killed the enjoyment of it. We teed off at noon on a Sunday and would have enjoyed a warning that there was a college tourney going on ahead of us. Greens were a trampled mess with an insane amount of unfixed ball marks.
Great golf course
Course is in great shape. Greens are fast and roll true. They are not the softest greens - you will get some release and roll.
They would not give us individual carts due to being too busy so two of us walked and two rode in the carts. Easy course to walk. Be prepared for wind at this course. It has always been windy whenever I’ve played this course.
This course is comparable to any top courses at Myrtle Beach or Hilton Head.
Nice course, food and beverage lacking
First time playing this course. True to the reviews, it was in good shape. Greens were solid and well maintained as were fairways. Bunkers on the other hand looked as if they were not touched all year and showed some serious drainage issues.
There was no beverage cart service for whatever reason (tee time at 10AM) so that was unfortunate. We were told at the cart return that the restaurant was closed but we could get food at the downstairs food hut. The girl working there looked very overwhelmed and informed us all she had for food were a few ham and cheese sandwiches, she said she didn't have time to put brats or hot dogs on yet (it was 2PM, not sure what she was waiting on). I normally don't ding a course for this as my main purpose is golf, not food...I wouldn't let this stop me from going back even though it's not around the corner. Staff was friendly and outgoing.
Great course, slow play
Course is excellent but you better allot for 5-6 hour rounds. Had to wait for a cart, was told over 225 rounds were booked that one day. Great course in excellent condition, pace of play is the only downfall to this track.
