About
Cumberland Trail Golf Club is a par-72, Championship layout course that was designed by the Hurdzan/Fry Design team in the year 2000. The golf course offers five different sets of tees tipping it to over 7,200 yards providing an equal challenge for any golfer. Since its opening, Cumberland Trail Golf Club has been known for having the "Best Greens in Columbus." Cumberland not only provides the experience of putting on tour greens, it now provides the overall golf experience every golfer desires when they step out of their car at the golf course.

The best public course I've played within 30 minutes of Columbus
Despite lots of rain the last few weeks, the course was in great shape, and the greens were rolling true. I was impressed at the layout as well. Every par 5 played as a 3 shot hole for me as a medium length hitter, and the par 3s were difficult, putting an emphasis on taking advantage of the par 4s under 400 yards. Lots of 140 and 150 yard approach shots made short irons paramount. Excellent course, would recommend for all skill levels, but particularly lower handicap golfers who are looking for a challenge.

Best Bang for your Buck
Our experience was absolutely phenomenal. Played 18 holes with a cart on a sunny afternoon. Conditions were well kept, staff is very friendly, and the layout is great. $41 to ride 18 on a wonderful course. Would recommend to all golfers looking for a good course to play.
A Top Course in Central Ohio
I’ve had the opportunity to play this course a couple years ago. Recently I moved around the corner from Cumberland and I’m very happy this is close. Nice range and putting green for warmup/practice. Having the putting green in the way to the first tee is a great placement.
For being early in the season the course is an immaculate shape. Tee boxes are not all chewed up. Fairways are nice and tightly mowed. The greens are smooth and fast (compared to others in the area). I love the layout and perfectly placed hazards.
One thing I will add, I’ve never had it be not windy. I live 2 miles away, no wind. Get here, my hat wants to go blowing away. I don’t get it. Just adds to the challenge.
