Willow Run Golf Course
About
Willow Run Golf Course was designed by a ubiquitous name in central Ohio, Jack Kidwell. The local designer played a role in creating many of the state's courses but he infused a different character into each. Willow Run has an interesting layout that will test your shot making skills as well as your course management capabilities. The greens are bentgrass and the fairways are accented with Ohio bluegrass. Correct placement off the tees is the key to doing well, especially on the front nine. Plenty of water comes into play throughout the golf course as well as several strategically placed bunkers. Willow Run's back nine boasts one of the most challenging par 4s in Ohio, the 13th. The green on this tricky hole is fronted by a meandering creek.

Nice Track
I was pleasantly surprised. It's an older course with big trees which were great for the shade on a 90 degree day, but troublesome if you are not a straight shooter. I loved the greens. Super receiving with a good shot and putted well.
Typical struggles on a first time course. Didn't know where some of the water was but no big deal.
Several areas where there are major drainage issues, otherwise the course is in pretty good shape and reasonably priced.
Course is in good shape. Great deal but you need to ride in an ATV because the cart paths are so bad.
Awesome greens
These greens are always in great shaped. Soft and gast
Cheap and it shows.
Understanding we have had a rain recently, but the course was overwhelmingly saturated and bogged down all over. The fairways seemed to not even be cut, couldn't get a ball to do anything but come to a dead stop everywhere on the course. The greens rolled horribly and the wait at every hole was over 5 minutes. I have played here several times over the years and the attraction has always been the price point, but not any more. Cheaper and it shows.
Cart paths are extremely bumpy and leads to more problem with grass in certain areas.
Great Value
Can’t beat the Value! Not busy at all, enjoyable round.
Wet but fun
It had Down poured just minutes before our Tee time but the course held up, the greens were super soft and it was a fun experience
Can't beat it
You can't beat the value for this quality of a course. 23 bucks for 18 and a cart where they could easily charge 40 and I'd understand it. Great course. Really good conditions, pace of play was excellent. Will definitely be back
