Willow Run Golf Course

About
Willow Run Golf Course was designed by a ubiquitous name in central Ohio, Jack Kidwell. The local designer played a role in creating many of the state's courses but he infused a different character into each. Willow Run has an interesting layout that will test your shot making skills as well as your course management capabilities. The greens are bentgrass and the fairways are accented with Ohio bluegrass. Correct placement off the tees is the key to doing well, especially on the front nine. Plenty of water comes into play throughout the golf course as well as several strategically placed bunkers. Willow Run's back nine boasts one of the most challenging par 4s in Ohio, the 13th. The green on this tricky hole is fronted by a meandering creek.

Decent track for the money
I don’t know how much they charge for a round on the weekends but $20 for 9 holes after 5:00 is a decent value. The course conditions are far from great, the fairways have potholes all over and the cart path is in dire need of replacement.
Makes you wanna just look at it
Course so nice you just look at it and say wow, look at that!
The course is great
Great price and the course maintains well
We enjoyed playing there
The carts/cart paths are awful. The course itself was in pretty good condition, some of the greens had debris but rolled well otherwise. Was stuck behind a twosome playing 3 holes an hour and had a twosome behind us hitting into us on multiple occasions.
Good place to play
We played the day after a big rain strom.
The course was very wet. I would say it plays better DRY
Bumpy Ride
The course and greens are kept in great shape. The greens run fast and true. The cost versus the play is a great value.
Just one thing. Like the title, be prepared to bounce around a lot on the cart path. The cart path is very bumpy in a lot of areas. Keep your eyes open for pot holes.
Mid
Front 9 was an absolute swamp with overgrown grass. Worst cart place I have ever seen in my life. Back 9 had much better water management and was enjoyable. Lots of slow pairs that won’t let singles play through. Super friendly staff
Great Course
Was worried it would be to wet after the rain we received. But the course was perfect! Will be playing it again soon. My only complaint is the cart path is pretty rough, but other than that great course!
