About
Willow Run Golf Course was designed by a ubiquitous name in central Ohio, Jack Kidwell. The local designer played a role in creating many of the state's courses but he infused a different character into each. Willow Run has an interesting layout that will test your shot making skills as well as your course management capabilities. The greens are bentgrass and the fairways are accented with Ohio bluegrass. Correct placement off the tees is the key to doing well, especially on the front nine. Plenty of water comes into play throughout the golf course as well as several strategically placed bunkers. Willow Run's back nine boasts one of the most challenging par 4s in Ohio, the 13th. The green on this tricky hole is fronted by a meandering creek.

Very Nice Course
Back to golf after 15+ years. This was a nice course, The greens were good, fairways maybe needed a little love and the cart paths were fairly beat up. Couple of traps were missing their rakes. A couple spots were fairly wet and some butt wipes decided to drive their carts through them. However, I thoroughly enjoyed this course and without a doubt will played it often. This is not a $100 a round course, but it is challenging in spots and has a few holes to help re-build your confidence. About 25 miles for me to get there and will gladly make the drive again!
Reluctant to review....
I'm a little reluctant to review Willow Run because it is a great value for a pretty well maintained and designed course. So, pace of play was very good and I really don't want a whole lot of extra people booking rounds so as not to screw things up for me! I like the course, I like the cost, I like the condition of the course (ok,it isn't quite Muirfield, but then, I'm not a pro or even a low-handicapper). I like that on weekdays it isn't too busy. Please play somewhere else!
Decent track for the money
I don’t know how much they charge for a round on the weekends but $20 for 9 holes after 5:00 is a decent value. The course conditions are far from great, the fairways have potholes all over and the cart path is in dire need of replacement.

We enjoyed playing there
The carts/cart paths are awful. The course itself was in pretty good condition, some of the greens had debris but rolled well otherwise. Was stuck behind a twosome playing 3 holes an hour and had a twosome behind us hitting into us on multiple occasions.
Good place to play
We played the day after a big rain strom.
The course was very wet. I would say it plays better DRY
