About
Willow Run Golf Course was designed by a ubiquitous name in central Ohio, Jack Kidwell. The local designer played a role in creating many of the state's courses but he infused a different character into each. Willow Run has an interesting layout that will test your shot making skills as well as your course management capabilities. The greens are bentgrass and the fairways are accented with Ohio bluegrass. Correct placement off the tees is the key to doing well, especially on the front nine. Plenty of water comes into play throughout the golf course as well as several strategically placed bunkers. Willow Run's back nine boasts one of the most challenging par 4s in Ohio, the 13th. The green on this tricky hole is fronted by a meandering creek.

Great course for the Average golfer
This course has been meticulously designed to provide an engaging and challenging learning experience. If you are seeking a cost-effective course that offers a stimulating intellectual environment, then this is an excellent option for you.
The course was in good shape but the cart paths are terrible
Willow run
Over course was pretty nice, had rained day before so there was a lot of cut grass but the Tee boxes but still was in good condition.
Good value good time
For what I paid, excellent value. I’d play it again. No range to warm up is a bit of a negative, but you can’t expect every amenity at this price. The lack of rain made some areas really firm, and it likely contributed to the fairway grass being long - there isn’t much anyone can do about that when we are in a dry period. Overall, good time and good value.
Good Value
A good course for the price. Some burned out tees and places in the fairway, butthe greens were very good. Expected with drought conditions. Git around in 4 hours on a Saturday afternoon.
Very Nice Course
Back to golf after 15+ years. This was a nice course, The greens were good, fairways maybe needed a little love and the cart paths were fairly beat up. Couple of traps were missing their rakes. A couple spots were fairly wet and some butt wipes decided to drive their carts through them. However, I thoroughly enjoyed this course and without a doubt will played it often. This is not a $100 a round course, but it is challenging in spots and has a few holes to help re-build your confidence. About 25 miles for me to get there and will gladly make the drive again!
