About
Located adjacent to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, Safari Golf Club was carefully carved from mature forests. This tight course is not particularly long, but it has a varied design that appeals to a number of different tastes and skill levels. The layout features tree-lined fairways and water hazards on several holes. There are also strategically placed bunkers lurking treacherously beside the greens. The golf course starts off with a challenging par 4 that features a dramatic drop from the tee to the green. It finishes with two demanding par 4s as well. The 17th and 18th holes both feature a slew of challenges including rolling, tree-lined fairways and tricky stream crossings. Although it presents a formidable test on some holes, Safari Golf Club's hazards are straightforward with no surprises.

It was a convenient place to practice and the
new layout is a nice improvement to the overall
18 holes of golf.

I met were very nice to play with.
Very nice course
First time playing this course, pleasantly surprised. Family friendly course that's in great shape, a bit slow paced but had a good round.
Enjoyed our round
I am new to golf, for this is only the second time I have played. The course seemed very clean and well kept. I would play their again.
Great course
Greens in neat conditions. Pace of play was good. Staff were friendly. No a very hard course.
Nit long, but challenging holes
Lots of fun. 5 stars all categories. Keep eye on ball if it goes in rough, hard to find. Staff had me paired with 3 some but allowed me to go early by myself, played at my pace, hit numerous practice shots and finished in 2 1/2 hours. This not a top of the line course but good tees, fairways, and greens, what else would you want. Some very nice looking holes. I will go back and do recommend.
You get what you pay for
The course condition and staff are fine and the carts are in good condition. The layout is tight, so bring your helmet. You will see jean shorts, hockey sticks, and the occasional golfer wander into your fairway looking for their errant tee shot. You can't blame the course for the weekend warriors and inexperienced golfers but the price certainly doesn't discourage those who should be on the range / taking etiquette lessons instead of trying to play.
I am used to a 4 hour round, just expect 5+ hours.
I will go back again but will try to be the first group out or prepare for a long day.
Rained Out
Serious all night rain resulted in the course being closed or the day.
Fun times
My buddy and I played 18 holes and were out with 2 other gentlemen. They were gulf instructors from out of town, we had a great time and had free mini lessons! Great Experiance!!!
Safari
Aeration was done but was told in advance. Made some changes to the lay out. Number 10 in particular is now a par 4 previously a par 3. Nicely done.
Good value
Very nice course, friendly staff, good food. Very good bang for your buck. Took a while to finish the full 18 but overall a good experience.
Decent
I liked the fact the course was this dry at this time of year, amazing. I would not recommend walking this course as some of the holes are extremely far apart, not walker friendly at all. This course was fairly easy before, after the remodeling the course is even easier.
